any confirmage on the number of sets they will be playing? I don\'t think I can live with myself if they are allowed 3 sets tonight. I hope that someone from moe. recognizes how good this band is and takes advantage of it.

 basicallly id like to see the breakfast, mmw, moe. actually i want to see them all.  even tresa andersson heard shes pretty good.

at least if i dont go. ill get to see umelt on sat instead of the breakfast, but im deadset on going i think.

Rujah, I am one of those idiots who **** up this past week with planning and not working. I had no money to make the trek. I really wanted to be in Utica last evening. Not really a care for moe.down except for The Breakfast and MMW. So I can live with myself until a setlist is posted.

i wouldn\'t risk it.  I was on the roads for 3 hours yesterday and saw tons of little piggys.  Doing little piggy things.

I\'m making an assumption about why you don\'t have yer license based on previous posts you\'ve made, and if my assumptions are true and you get caught driving the penalties are pretty strict.

Yeah I\'m not all that bummed that I\'m missing the show. I am going to hear plenty of great music that is not even The Breakfast so their sets will be just that much better for me.

so gas is supposed to hit $3+ this weekend due to the huricane. As of now, I\'m driving up to moe.down solo, which is stupid but a necessity. Anyone want to carpool, give me a call.

I\'m leaving late friday afternoon/early evening. to arrive sometime around midnight-4a depending on when I hit the road and traffic. Leaving from Southington, CT (I-84 exit 32 area)

I can fit 2 people, after that it would get pretty uncomfortable with gear.

I have not seen MMW in years so that should be fun. Never seen Keller and just HEARD him 2 days ago and am looking 4ward to that craziness. RAQ should be decent but I\'m not expecting much from the last time I saw them.
AGP should be fun and then there is moe.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah I\'m stoked for other bands for sure.

I got into the "heady" music scene after seeing MMW in 98.
after that I saw my first Breakfast and Phish shows in the fall/winter of 99.
Since then I got all that I needed, and then some, from those two bands....
not to mention that I always thought that moe. was a gay band...hence the name.  Not being gay myself, I figured I would be out of place at a moe. show.  Since Phish has disbanded and I now know that there is nothing gay about moe., and the breakfast are playing moe.down all the stars are in line....

I\'ve heard them and it seems like background music to me.  I\'m gonna give them another shot, and I might dig them alot, but they just don\'t grab me into their music.  Raq is gonna play a sick set at moe.down, their is alot of buzz going around about them playing there.

Any clue where abouts you are planning on setting up camp?  I\'d like to set up near some fellow breakfast folk

I dont hate RAQ....Stoops is a ser keyboardist....
They just seem like Phish-Lite to me, the past couple of times I have seen them.....

Andy, what do you have against MMW?  Just not your thing?  IllyB = second best drummer in the scene today, recently overthrown, in my opinion anyway, by our own Adrian "The Animal" Tramantano....

fired up for moe. of course, other than that, i hear good things about tea leaf and north mississippi.  Keller is cool, gets repetitive after a while.  not a huge MMW fan.  addison is always a good time, and raq rips it up (i know, alot of people hate them).

I havent seen MMW in a couple of years, so other than the breakfast, I am REALLY pumped to see them again.  Since they were the first "heady" show I got to back in 98.....

I have never seen Keller either, so that should be a treat.....

North Mississippi All Stars...I got to see them as The Word w/ Robert Randolph and John Medeski at Lupos a couple of years back....some super ser ****.  I would love to see a little The Word reunion....I also got to see the NMAllstars at Toads a couple of years ago as well....they bring it.

It also says that the Violent Femmes will be there...  I saw them at toads a long long time ago.....I could be excited by them....

slightly off subject, but I was just told that moe. will play an afternoon set on saturday. They are opening and closing the show, but due to a type it got listed as just them on the main stage. It was always planned for them to do an afternoon set, it was just never announced.

I\'m definitely feelin a Buquebus @ moe.down. That\'s all I\'m sure of. Is Breakfast playing on the mainstage? Or beer tent? Mainstage would be cool, cuz I think more peeps would check em out. Then again, the moe.down beer tent ain\'t a bad place to be. Just shimmy a few steps back and you can have yourself a frosty mug o\' brew.

Be careful with what you try to bring into the stage area. During the day they are real picky. They\'ll search everything you got. My friends saw a kid get pinned to the ground last year, cuz he looked like he obviously had something on him, and he tried to run. :no: No cameras either. Getting toward latenight, however, they are less like ****... so party on!

we\'ll figure something out..i might be able to find some tarps and make a fort (i\'m good at that stuff) otherwise, i like spooning a lot. i left my $20 target tent in lyonsdale, ny last october because it was covered in snails and there was moonshine all over it. i might head over there or walmart today and see what i can get for that price. also, i am down for hotels, etc..no broken doors or fire extinguishers or anything like that this time, i swear.

your right......they would be very rushed on time for that set, but maybe they will get 40 minutes for their last set.

so i\'m guessing they are gonna get 3 (30-35 minute) sets.   I\'d like to see them look like this

I.Doughboy, vera street, beef barley, inner glimpse, WPOC>funky bill\'s

II. jam>mayfly, Phatty, buqubues>Son of simpleton

III. jam>taboot, gravity>shakedown st>gravity, rufus

I\'d also like to see, but i don\'t know where to put them or what to take out, a Score (with addison), attraction, and see the light

I was planning on making a thread just like this today.....


I have 1 moe.down ticket that i need to get rid of and willing to do so for early bird price at 80 bucks, even tho its a 90 dollar ticket.  I will most likely be at porters and willing to bring it if so.  Otherwise someone can PM me if your interested.

if you can\'t get rid of them, i\'ll probally take them.  Just have to make sure I have a ride there.  If somebody else comes first, give them to them, but if you still have them once i can confirm a ride, i\'ll take them.

Unfortunatley due to some bad news that was given to me this week I won\'t be able to attend moe.down, whick leaves me with two tickets that I have no use for. So what I am asking is face value of the early bird tix which is $80. Tix are first come first serve I really don\'t wanna do this but am left with no choice. First person to call my cell and let me know you definitley want them, owns them. (203)641-3004. You can either get them from me this weekend at either show, or i\'ll express ship them to make sure you have them in time. Thanks......Bill

I just noticed that this website says they will be playing Sat. at 7pm.  Is that gonna be on the main stage???  I figured they would get in the beer tent, but those bands usually play earlier in the day then between bands on the main stage.
