IT was one of the best weekends I have ever had. That Rock & Roll-> Seven Below->S&SS->Seven Below was truly amazing. I wish I could go back there on a yearly basis, Phish fests were otherwordly, I miss those the most.
my thoughts exactly

doing some old thread cleanup, and i came across this.. having just listened to IT for the first time about a month ago, i can say that YES, there is absolutely a slow merge tease at the end of seven below. i even mentioned it to pitchie, and he remembered hearing it as well..

Yeah a Slow Merge tease in Seven Below. Keep Dreaming everyone.
It is just an auditory illusion. It may SOUND similar but come on. It is just like one of those songs you have never heard before but still KNOW the tune, so you think.
Oh what am I talking about?
OF COURSE Trey has heard Slow Merge.
Thanx for the laugh guys.

Awesome. It might not lead us to what the word means, but it just might lead people who do to us!

thats sorta funny this thread came up today....i was recently having a conversation online with spacey about some of the new tunes and he described one of \'em to have the same feel as 7 below. I can\'t remember if it was intension or something else, but anyway, just sorta funny.

...from 9:00 in till the end it gets real filthy, and there is such a blatant pb riff in there that i almost had a faschitzna when i heard it.
i am not sure the name of the pb tune that i am thinking of when i listen to this, but, but i know that someone out here will listen to it and tell me what i am talking about. it might even be a cover of a tune in the pb repetouir....
thank you. and this party in maine looks sweet. wish i could be there. ah well i cant wait to hear the story, or at least read the setlist from that suare.
