Nice spot!! Good to see the article in pole position too - can\'t help but give the band some free publicity.

Like the idea of an 80s album to cover. Suggestions anyone???

I sent the following release to them on Sunday morning. It took a while to get edited and posted but I\'m glad they did!! What a great pair of shows!

"Morrison Hotel and Sgt Peppers debut with the Breakfast; No Strings Attached!

The Breakfast sold out 2 nights at Branford\'s Puppet House Theatre on August 19 and 20. The band filled each night with 3 longs sets. Set 2 of each night debuted to classic rock albums, each in its entirety. Amidst rumors of Van Halen\'s 1984, Zeppelin 2 and various Zappa speculations, The Breakfast wowed the crowd w/near flawless  covers of the Doors - Morrison Hotel and on Saturday , The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.

It\'s safe to say that fans can expect some new additions to the bands repertoire of covers in the near future!

The Breakfast?s ?Roadhouse Blues?

Working from the adage that breakfast is fine anytime, we?re here with some belated news regarding the Connecticut-based quartet formerly known as Psychedelic Breakfast. Over the weekend the group performed two nights of three sets apiece in its home state at Branford\'s Puppet House Theatre. The Breakfast announced that it would cover a ?classic rock album? in its entirety at each of these shows, yielding The Door?s Morrison Hotel and the Beatles Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. The band will appear in Hartford at Sully?s Pub on Friday (and given the fact that the band covered an album from 60?s and an album from the 70?s, who knows maybe they?ll dig in and throw down a release from the 80?s).

Mike -

I\'m working on a Jambands Feature that requires a little bit more followup with Tim after a lengthy interview I did with him about a month and a half ago.  Hopefully, this feature will post by October and includes information about new Breakfast work.

i\'d like to hear adrian\'s take on the drum intro on hot for teacher. i don\'t know if i would want to be there for it, though. i think its effect would be similar to the lost ark in indiana jones.

umphrey\'s mcgee does a killer version of this with their drummer singing.

Wish they said more but you gotta love any press they get.  I have a feeling we\'ll be seeing more and more.

Subject:  Jambands.com: More Breakfast on the site!?!
Date:  Wed, 24 Aug 2005 04:41:57 -0400

Hey guys,

First off i\'d like to say, i love the site and visit it all the time for my jamband news.  But there is one problem with this; there is never anything about The Breakfast!!! These guys are sooo good and i never see anything about them on the web.  Please be the first site to start paying them some mind!  They did two amazing shows last weekend at the Puppet House Theatre in Branford, CT in which they covered a classic rock album in its entirety, as part of the three set spectactle each night.  The download on BT community tracker has already surpassed every other breakfast show as the most downloaded shows ever!  over 400 snatches, and its only wednesday, four days since the show!  Once again i have to say you have a great site going, but where\'s the Breakfast!?!?

Thanks for taking the time to read my concerns,

Michael Roberts

I wrote this email last night, when i couldn\'t sleep and was just surfing the web for articles and **** about the boys and found really close to nothing.  I was a little outraged and a lil motivated so i wrote this email.  Not sure if it really had anything to do with it cause i know wolfman sent in his review as well.  Anyway, this kicks ass with a ser spot right at the top of the page.

Van halen 1984 is def. an 80\'s Album

Great last hurrah before Diamond Dave leaves the Band

would be a great album for them to do considering it has heavy keys during "Ill wait" and the drumming during "Hot for teacher"

The classic "Panama"

Good solid album

It was a long time ago so I looked up the songs

1. 1984
2. Jump
3. Panama
4. Top Jimmy
5. Drop Dead Legs
6. Hot for Teacher
7. I\'ll Wait
8. Girl Gone Bad
9. House of Pain

besides "Jump" the whole album is pretty damn good
