Do we know if Tim needs/wants help? Someone should figure that out first. Then we can put some ideas together...put the wheels in motion.

Also Freddie...If this does go down, I\'m all about helping. Whatever I can do. I will def sell tickets and make some shirts. Stay in touch...

Let me repeat my suggestion to those who are broke:  Malt liquor and MD 20/20.

Just because I\'m broke doesn\'t mean I will EVER lower my standards of beer drinking to cheap "Pimp Juice" ghetto drinks with a .5% alcohol content!

Back to the thread, it sucks that TPalms lost his equipment, and I\'ll support whatever initiative y\'all take to help get him back his stuff.  Whether it\'s a raffle, donations, filling the crowds @ shows, or tipping the tip jar, I\'ll help in any way I can.

I think Leith has been working a Fair out in California, either that or he has tired of us.

As for the Breakfast Finances, I know I CAN\'T manage them, I can hardly get lunch tomorrow.

Rather be sober then drink malt liquor or mad dog 20/20 (that is just me), I like to bother my friends instead :)

And Zurflu...that was kind of a douchy post there guy....

I guess Leith is wearing off on our dear Cali friend! ;)

Leith has been MIA.

As far as my post goes, many people think they know how to manage the finances of the Breakfast, yet some of these same folks appear unable to budget their own money.

Let me repeat my suggestion to those who are broke:  Malt liquor and MD 20/20.

Reading this thread just made me wanna hurl...does anyone REALLY think the rest of the band would feel negative in ANY way that fans tried to help theire friend and band member buy new equiptment after it was stolen(esp. with the Breakfast track record as far as stolen gear)...just wow!

I give heart and soul to TPalms every week and have done so for almost 2 years now....  I know he cannot buy a new rig or guitar with my heart and/or soul, but we all contribute in our own way.

And Zurflu...that was kind of a douchy post there guy....

i got money in my pocket at all times, and like to throw tim 5-10 bucks every show.
and btw, usually when folks start posts like "not trying to be a total douche"or something like that,9 times outta 10 ,their intent was to be a total douche

most spare money that is had at timmy solo shows ends up in the tip cup anyways,

Now I\'m not trying to be a total douche, but why do so many people continue to mention the perpetual lack of cash yet spend tons of money on drinks at numerous shows each week?  I do well for myself and even I prefer not to buy more than a drink or two because drinks aren\'t cheap.  If I were broke each week, I would rank the expensive alcohol from bars right out of my budget and resort to 40oz. beverages.  You can buy nearly a gallon of malt liquor for the price of a beer at a bar.

Sorry, but I hate to see so many of you guys living from nickel-to-nickel and wish you all had more in your pockets on a regular basis.

most spare money that is had at timmy solo shows ends up in the tip cup anyways, plus the turnout to those is a fraction as a full on breakfast show.  if we\'re wanting to do something substantial, we need to utilize all our resources.

If it\'s just for Tim, then maybe you guys could organize a raffle for a different prize each time he plays a Timmy Tour show. I\'m just being perfectly honest, I think the guys might not think it\'s fair if you raised money solely for him at a full-band show.

Don\'t get me wrong Freddie, I want to help him out too, really I do. I missed a dozen concerts at Deer Creek this summer because I had to save money, and I\'m still going to mail him a check for 20 bucks.

I think the raffle is a good idea, and it won\'t be that hard to organize. Just make up some tickets on the computer with numbers on them or something. Get a box, have someone in the band draw the winner before encore. Should all the money go to Tim, or should half of it go to Tim, and the other half go to the general band fund?

Or maybe one night\'s raffle money goes to Tim, second night\'s money goes to the band?

i guess when discussions actually go down around here, sometimes they can be misinterpretted as arguements.that,my friends, wasnt my intent.
i wanna help our favorite guitar player out.
i know alot of folks on the board wanna help our favorite guitar player out.
if i hook it up,would folks be down to help at the puppethouse shows?
in this thread, lets try to not go nuts about anything other than what im talking about.that way,it shouldnt be closed.
any othe rsuggestions would be appreciated, but as far as right now,im gonna ask ms.greenberg to hook some **** up.
cool?cool..
thanks,

Maybe if Adrian decides to market his Big Bang DVD, we could do something with that too.

thats all up to matt, paul, and i. we havent started working on the project yet. defintely not going to be ready for the puppet house.

If we\'re going to make another lot of ARE YOU SER? t-shirts, those would make decent prizes as well. I\'m sure you could get local business to donate prizes.

i have been trying to make more but i ran into some problems. their service is automated so that i can go thru the whole process on my computer at home without having to even talk to an actual person who works there.

i had a lot of trouble getting my new design to transfer over. outlines were not showing up, white was showing up as clear, etc. i still have the old design, but i am having trouble getting the " ? " character in the pronuciation key to show up properly. i could probably get it straightened out if i just talk to someone with the company, but i havent had time to do that before they close at 5pm on the days my computer has been hooked up at my house.

i feel kind of bad because 2 or 3 people already pre paid, so i have to do that as soon as possible.

They wouldn\'t necessarily have to play a show...the point is that it would be an all-ages thing and the band members could mingle and really get a chance to talk to people. It would just be a fun Sunday night type of thing.

If you have desirable prizes, people will buy raffle tickets, simple as that. I like the idea of having Aruny do some artwork...I would buy it. Signed CDs are always nice to have, as well. Chris, those DVDs you made are great, and anyone would be happy to win one and have endless hours of Breakfast viewing pleasure. Maybe if Adrian decides to market his Big Bang DVD, we could do something with that too.

If we\'re going to make another lot of ARE YOU SER? t-shirts, those would make decent prizes as well. I\'m sure you could get local business to donate prizes.

Wait a second.....BREAKFAST BINGO. Host a bingo night!! Fun for everyone. It would be open to the community, not just Breakfast fans. I know some senior citizens who never miss a bingo night in town, and drop lots of money to play. There could be plenty of prizes scrounged up from wherever.

I can bust out some one of a kind shirts for this raffle if it happens. Just need some art work which im sure jim cobb and aruny could help with. Has anyone seen the shirts that bezerker and I have made?
