The movie is apparently in the h.264/MPEG-4 codec. Should be out for windows soon (Quicktime version 7). I got it to play using
http://www.videolan.org/ (http://www.videolan.org/)
Looks good!
:thumbsup:Thanks for figuring that out and posting your solution. I have been screwing around with other codecs for the last couple of days and have not been happy with size/quality ratio. The dvd is looking pretty good. Sadly, the rest of the set I had to shoot from an awkward angle or handheld. It is still very viewable and a lot of fun to watch the skyline cruise by occasionally. I am waiting on some high-quality photos from derickw that I am going to use to cover the tape changes. The first set is pretty much done and I am hoping to put together the second set this weekend.
The camera is a Canon Optura 400. I got it this summer for my birthday.

:banghead:It seems to work on a couple of other computers that I have access to. They are all Macs running various versions of OSX. I\'ll see what I can do.

need more bandwidth
Damn, it already ran out? The file was 15 mb. I figured that it would last for more than a couple of downloads.

That recording ended up coming out pretty good
Seems to be a trend with you. :)

You know that show was the only time Tim has ever come running over to see if the recording came out. At the time I was using Soundforge for the first time and I thought that the 2nd Set didnt save So I had to say "NO" to Tim when I really wanted to say HELL YA. But when I got home and went over it, it did get recorded so I felt like an even bigger ASS.

I find it best to err on the side of caution.
btw I met you at my first Psychedelic Breakfast show. No Moore Bar in NYC back in 2003.

If I put the shows out there I really dont care waht people do with them. I guess it is nice to be referenced as taper but I am not a glory **** (most of the time :) )

Here is a small taste of the boat cruise.
I used the audio from the archive (Sorry to kindm\'s for not getting his approval first. This was just a test.)
Audio Source: AKG 414XLS/ST (hypers, ortf) >UA-5 (Oade digi-MOD) 24/48 >VX Pocket 440 >Sony Vaio PCG-GRS700k > Wavelab 5.0
Transfer: Wavelab 5.0 (16Bit/44.1khz) UV22HR >CD WAV Editor >FLAC 1.7.1
Taper: kindm\'s

Thanks to the band for letting me video the August 3rd boat cruise. Due to the cramped conditions and movement of the boat a lot of the footage may be hard to watch. I only had a table-top tripod with me and half the time I had to try shooting from that on top of a soft bass drum case. I will let you all know when I get through the footage and put it in some watchable form.
