Hey Ant i\'ll trade you a home made super computer for a new starter/ installed

Heh, lets not get into newegg, i should own half the stock on them so far!

(newegg.com?)
Best. Site. Ever.
I built my entire desktop off that site for less than $400. Of course I already had a flat-screen monitor, stole my dad\'s optic mouse, and took an old keyboard, but still. 120G HDD, dual-fan power supply, new videocard, new network card, and motherboard.

Good stuff, thanks Dave

d - that\'s all an external HD is - an internal IDE drive inside a case. same with external DVD/CD drives. plug & play works just the same..
take a look here: http://dealsonic.com/exen.html
-
wait a minute you can buy and internal and an enclosure for it. how does plug and play work on that. or do you just leave it hooked up. kind of a crazy idea, no
-
I put one together with the external enclosure (newegg.com?), but the mistake I made was I didn\'t get the one with firewire. Oops...lol.
-
usually cheaper to buy an external enclosure separately anyways.. dealsonic.com has a ton..
-
Last i saw Staples has a 200G maxtor for $99 in house no rebates. I\'d rather an external HD though. i think they were on a clearance table
-
yup

I\'ve got about 20GB left on my 120GB HDD! This maybe an nice investment.
