There is a good chance that Wednesday "latenight" will be postponed this week due to the fact that I am not responsible nor do i have any willpower to do the right thing.....
However I have taken, and gotten approved, Thursday July 14th and Thursday July 21st off from work, so you can bet Trish\'s sweet ass that latenight will be in full effect on those respective Wednesdays.....
-
Todd is well on his way to recovery.......He was in Milford this evening picking up some new camera equipment and called me to meet for a couple of beers after work.
Though he is still a bit dazed, and i guess bruises on your brain will daze ya, he is looking good and plans to be on Timmy Tour Wednesday night.....
I guess we will find out if he is nearing a full recovery when he embarks on Timmy Tour and joins the Wed. late-night festivities that inevitably lead to the day after dubbed "Black Thursday".

So glad to be able to type this right now!!! Got t-boned leaving last night. It was at the blinking yellow light on Marsh Hill Road. **** came out of nowhere, rammed my passenger side and flipped my truck. 7 hours in ER and 6 staples in my knoggin!!! 4-Runner= GONE! :( SOOOOOOOOO glad Curtiss decided to take a night off, because if he was in my passenger seat, he wouldn\'t be here right now. Also glad that I\'m trying to be good about wearing my seat belt and had it on. If I didn\'t I\'d be gone. Other than cuts on my head from riding the pavement with the top of my head, some stiffness in my neck and various other minor cuts I\'m ok. See ya\'ll soon, I hope!!!
Todd, are you recovering at home yet? We haven\'t heard from you in a few days. Hope you are well!

How does one rack up so many miles on one automobile?
Just keep driving it till it says "no mas"!
Unfortunately, cars that spend their lifetimes in New England have a shorter lifespan than autos in other parts of the country. I had a perfectly good (mechanically) 1990 Honda Civic hatchback but had to get rid of it due to some rusting after it failed the state inspection (wasn\'t worth the investment in repairs). I purchased a new car at the end of 2003 and it\'s great, but I would have driven the old hatchback to its death if I didn\'t have to give it up.
You sould have seen my pickup at 180,000. More holes and rust than body left. Bought a new bed, fenders, and a Maaco paint job, and drove it another 100,000 miles.

How does one rack up so many years on one human?
Good question, must be good clean living!
P.S. administrator rights revoked!
-
How does one rack up so many miles on one automobile?
When you have been driving a car since the Carter Administration, it is easy to throw a couple hundred thousand miles on the someovabitch
Ya beat me to it Peck....
Great minds ya know...

Toyota rules. Had a pickup truck: 278,000 miles. Now driving a Corolla: 240,000 miles and counting!
-
I\'ve got all of the above! And....I would take a Toyota over a Nissan any day of the year!!
-
wait...who??
eclipse = mits; 4runner = toyota....
Hey, no one ever accused me of being bright. I only read Todd\'s post once and mixed up Pathfinder/4-Runner when I was typing, ah well. And yea, I know eclipse is Mitsubishi, maybe I should have explained a little better, she hasn\'t bought anything but a Mits since.
Todd, fuckin \'eh man, those pics make me think you should be in a hospital bed. Need a good lawyer/chiropracter ;)?
-
<<- gonna have one of the coolest camera outfits going in a couple years ;)
-
Poor 4 Runner! I can\'t picture you in anything else after seeing it in front of numerous clubs/restaurants/after-parties over the years.
God damn! A girl recently pulled the same thing on my dad and destroyed his car too.
-
Not sure yet. I get the police report tomorrow, hopefully. I think the EMT said she was driving a Corsica, but being that I was wrong with almost everything else I remember, I could be totally wrong.
-
good lord.
any idea what she was driving?
-
Fourth... 4am is gonna come early, maybe I should stop drinking.
rotfl rotfl
Fifth...thumbs up to the Toyota. What a tank.
Yep, took out a deer and drove right through it and now this!
-
Todd, first things first, it\'s soooo good that you walked away from that fffaaaiiiiirrrrrlllllyyyy unscathed.
Second, good thing nobody was in the truck with ya.
Third, SICK SHOTS!!
Fifth...thumbs up to the Toyota. What a tank.
Fourth... 4am is gonna come early, maybe I should stop drinking.
-
Here they are. Upon seeing my truck, I now know almost everything I remember was wrong. She hit my driver\'s side, sunroof did not break, roof did not collapse as much as I thought. I think now, I may have crawled out through the windshield :hscratch: I just don\'t know.  for Toyota though. I will be getting another one of these!!!
I put them into a basic web page on my site. See them here. (http://tkaphotos.com/public_html/4-Runner_crash.htm)
I left out the interior shots showing all the blood ;)
-
With his fists/legs/baton or with his legal prowess?
fists..in the stomach, etc..you get the picture
did not use his legs
no batons--we are not fans of the fuzz..luckily my dad got there AN HOUR before the cops so he could handle things the old fashioned way
Should have forced 20 meat shots down his throat!
definitely will remember that next time..thanks
-
then my dad kicked his ass.

If I want to make toast, I\'ll use a toaster. I think I\'ll probably get another 4-Runner. Just gonna be hard to find another with the off road sport package I had. :sigh:
-
Get a heady Element next they have a roll cage in the roof.
-
Hard to say. If I was in a car, I may not have flipped. May have just been pushed, spun around. I\'ll tell more after I see my truck. If I did in fact flip a couple times, then I would have to say that Toyota makes a mighty fine vehicle. The roof collapsed, but not enough to smush me.
-
Damn Todd, that sounds like an absolutely horrific scene. Glad to hear you\'re okay. Get better quick man.
Side note, do you think the truck is what saved you? Just a thought cos I remember my cousin flipping her Eclipse a good 8 or 9 years ago on I-91 and teeter-tottering over the barrier to the other side of the highway. She, to this day, says that the car itself is what kept her from being more seriously injured. If so, props to Nissan.

wouldn\'t mind seeing some pics. i kinda wish i took pics of my truck when i smashed it, to go back and see how much of a stupid **** i am every once in a while.. then again, when i stopped by the shop to take a look at it, i was on the verge of tears after i saw it, so...
-
I guess this means I\'ll be buying you a beer next time I see you.
Glad you are OK.
-
Why, ya wanna see \'em??? I\'ll try to keep the "bloody shots" to a minimum. I do remember there being blood everywhere.
-
ya gonna post\'em?
-
Thanks everyone!!! Just found out from the garage my truck is at that I "rolled over and over". I only remember one "over", but maybe I did get knocked out. :hscratch: Going down this afternoon to get my stuff out of it and take some photos.
-
damn todd!! glad to hear you\'re all right, that\'s unbelievable! sorry to hear about your truck, hope all of that works out.
i guess i have decent driving experience but i just don\'t understand how there are so many shitty drivers on the road..last feb i was driving home from dc and a drunk driver in like an f350 crashed into the driver\'s side of my car when i was going over a bridge. the glass came in ontop of me and it was a pretty nasty scene. i almost went over a 30 ft drop into this river. this is kind of a long story but to sum up, the guy sped off, and in a crazy rage i chased him thru red lights and finally got the son of a **** cornered. then my dad kicked his ass.
adding onto the .info curse, don\'t forget about donnie greenleaved and i guess general car trouble falls into this category-gabe
-
Didn\'t Dave have brake trouble a while back?
if you call falling asleep at the wheel on the way home from a show, nailing a parked accord at about 40mph, totalling it, and causing $6k+ damage to my own vehicle \'brake trouble\' - yeah, i guess i did.. ;)
-
Glad to hear you are for the most part alright, Todd.
What is up with the .inforumers curse? Spacey was the last regular-poster-near-victim that I can think of. Didn\'t Dave have brake trouble a while back? I just realized that Tim\'s occasional posting and presence in the van is what probably did them in. This is all very creepy in a Agatha Christie kind of way.
i busted a tie rod on my car one thursday last month. i was just driving and then i couldnt steer anymore. i was lucky and i was only going about 10 mph on a back road near my house.
the night before i drove from wallingford to richter\'s to stephengencs\'s place in orange and then back to wallingford. and i was probably driving like a maniac the whole time. i cant believe i made it the whole way home without breaking the tie rod that night and flying off a bridge at 80 mph.
-

TODD!!! Holy **** man! This crazy world throws everyone a curve ball every now and again... glad to hear you are ok!
Gencs: By "weird" I simply was making fun of how mushy you get over Breakfast music. There\'s absolutely nothing wrong with that though. It\'s great to know people that love music (and the people that create it) so deeply. The Breakfast has taken my knowledge and feelings of music to new heights. When I don\'t go to a show for a while (like a few weeks), I feel like my body wants to go into withdrawal, like the Breakfast is a drug I cannot ever get enough of. It\'s amazing the journey I\'ve made... meeting the band and all you guys... it\'s like we\'re a big family. Everyone\'s in it for a common purpose: to get high off the sweetest music that has ever graced my little ears.
Fatboy is a reference to moe.\'s record label. This mysterious Fatboy was wearing a moe. t-shirt last night. Enough clues... figure it out!
-
oh my goodness, what a fantastic birthday, thanks to everyone for the good times and tpalms for an excellent soundtrack for the night... you guys are awesome :)
TODD i am sooooo sorry about your accident, but i\'m glad to hear that you\'re alright! best wishes for a speedy recovery!
-
Woah, that is some freaky **** my man. Glad to hear that you were able to come out with minor injuries in such a serious accident. Hope you heal quickly. Good luck!
-
mighty glad your alright todd
-
Damn Todd!! Glad to hear you\'re ok!!! Freakin\' people!
-
Todd, that is crazy...I hope you are alright and up and around soon. I know old bones heal slower;) But really get better...Damn, good thing you didn\'t have Curtiss in the passenger seat.
-
So glad to be able to type this right now!!! Got t-boned leaving last night....!!!

-
2005 has been giving you plenty of abuse: Broken ribs in Feb. and now an errant motorist nearly kills you.
Let\'s hope the rest of the year is trouble free!
-
The music wouldn\'t, no couldn\'t, be nearly as great and powerful as it is without the scene of people that embrace it. And personally i think that this is one of the kindest, friendliest, and most of all best smelling scenes going.....
rotfl
by the way...Todd what happened to you isnt funny at all, good thing you were so lucky and smart to have your belt on! get better soon brah!
-
NOT COOL
good lord.. glad to hear you\'re ok, todd.. you know that i know exactly how it feels to be so lucky after something like that. here\'s to a speedy recovery.

A
-Genc interviews/commentary... (that boy\'s got some deep love for Timmy... it\'s actually a little weird)
I have an extremely deep love for Timmy, the entire breakfast band/crew, and of course every single one of you out there.... and if that makes me weird, then I dont want to be...uh....not weird.
When something like sound/music can make you feel things in your heart and mind that nothing in life, tangable or not, has ever done, the result, well for me anyway, is a deep love for that source. The source of the music is Timmy and Adrian and Ronnie and Jordan. The music wouldn\'t, no couldn\'t, be nearly as great and powerful as it is without the scene of people that embrace it. And personally i think that this is one of the kindest, friendliest, and most of all best smelling scenes going.....So if you think I am weird for my deep love for Timmy, I urge you to define, for me, what weird means to you....
Who is this Fatboy? I am intrigued.
Steevie G. alter-ego?
that would be a little obvious Zurflu.....
ya friggin pickle sniffer....

No worries on the Walsh fiasco. I enjoy his stories and his company, no matter how many times I hear the same story ;). Walsh, anytime ya need a ride, you can depend on the SpaceCar.
