lets make it happen folks!!
-
That being said, it is very unlikely that enough $$ would be made from selling the shirts to draw any real attention.
-
I think that any problems that would come from this tee shirt would happen when you started selling the shirt for profit. The bottom line, no matter what anyone else says, is ALWAYS money. If everyone is buying the shirt for x amount of dollars and no one is profiting from the sale of the shirt, no one cares. It is free advertisment for the Muppets in a sense. No Profit = No Problem. They would probably only go after the printer of the TShirts for not questioning the Copyright. It would be a sticky mess, but I think we can get through it.

oh leith i wasnt serious, and even if jim henson prod. did decide to come after us, i have connects with one the top litigators on the planet. i wont mention any names but check out a recent cover of forbes magazine. but it shouldn\'t be an issue anyways. we\'re not tryin to rip anyone off, we just like our tee shirts. i\'ve been in tons of bands that have ripped off trademarked logos and all that but unless you\'re REALLY under the microscope, no one cares.

and as far as legality goes....
PROOVE that\'s animal\'s silouette.
thats not animal... animal doesnt wear a hat.... lawsuit avoided.
LOL ok if you think it\'s that ez. But if the figure even elicits a thought of Animal upon observation, which it does, you can still be prosecuted for copyright infringement. Believe me when I say Jim Henson Productions has more lawyers than all of us on the board combined. That being said, it is very unlikely that enough $$ would be made from selling the shirts to draw any real attention. I only mention it because the fanbase is beginning to really get involved and if things go the way we all want them to and the band breaks big certain laws will have to be followed in order to avoid any complications for the band and it\'s family of fans.

Looks great!! What about the back? thebreakfast.info obviously, but what else?
PS I\'d be up for one of these tees too - you could hang fire on sending my SER shirt till these came in, if you\'ve not already sent it.
-
my t shirt guys hooked me up today. im getting a ser discount next time. plus i can get an even more ser discount if i order within the next 14 days. i dont know if there is enough time though. i might just have a few timmy tour tees made and sell them at richter\'s and put a few $ from each tim\'s tip cup.

just make sure the hat is on animal....

The kid who ran Knighthood Tee\'s was sued by Phish a few years ago for using their song names on the shirt. I am not sure if this falls under the same category but, if it is copyrighted it means someone owns the right to the logo. Who ever owns the copyright can confiscate the shirts. Because, under 50 will probably be made, someone who have to know a CEO or a high power and get caught wearing the shirt. I think all is good here.
-
oh ****. i\'ll get on that.
-
that shirt is great but it is missing one thing...........
Come on now......
You know.....
THE HAT!
-
Yeah I was thinkin bout that myself.
-
if you\'re only selling the shirts to breakfast fans/people you know of, i would not necessarily worry about copy written laws. after all, how many antelope shirts have you seen being sold on phish lot? i kinda doubt the vendor gave any money to the John Deere people for using their logo. same thing with the "morning dew" (mountain dew) shirts, "hydrogen" (heineken) shirts, etc.

yeah it definitly cant be sold, but theres nothing wrong with us pitching in and buying some for ourselves. that way no one is making profit on it.

Now Al, other than the people in the picture, who would want a shirt with those ugly mugs on it? Wouldn\'t be a very good seller. ;)
I think the Animal shirt would sell as well or better than a Timmy Tour shirt. Timmy Tour shirts would appeal to only those who have in fact experienced Timmy Tour. Or the wannabes who wish they had been to a solo gig. But the Animal shirt would appeal not only to the regulars, and fans of the Breakfast, but I think even to those who don\'t know ANYTHING about Bfast. Any fan of the drums who has seen the Muppets would dig that shirt. Music fans in general.
Animal shirts= copyright protected most likely.
was thinking the same thing

I do like your design!
I\'d still like to see an "Are You Ser?" version two shirt with Freddie\'s face on it. Would be very funny. Maybe even the Spelling Bee photo of Dave, Mike, Leith, freddie, Steve and myself with an "Are You Ser?" tag on it.
-
Ha Ha Ha...THAT IS **** SICK...so Cobb...I see what you lack in guitar prowess, you make up for in creativity....
-
definitly different color, i just took the pic from the ser tee.
-
definitly a cool concept, i\'d buy it. something needs to be on the back, and i\'m with chris on this one, different color.
i\'d also be down on a TT shirt, if i had any graphic design skill i\'d try, but ya don\'t want me to, trust me.
-
we need to come up with a cartoonlike representation of timmyp..
-
thats a pretty cool design, it just needs to be cleaned up a little. i would also suggest using a different color than we used last time. and what about the back?
The only problem is that i think they would be harder to sell. I was thinking we should make timmy tour shirts next because they would be the easiest to sell and the more we can sell the cheaper they will be. i would like to try to get them down to between $10-$12 next time.
-
i love it cobb.
great one..
