definitely, the lyrics and verses are obvious and they suck. the jam was real jazzy, and there were a lot of points i definitely gave a "**** yeah" to. timmy just smokes on this tune, and id love to hear what ron and jordan could do now.

Gypsy Girl-- songwriting is pretty weak, but i actually thought the jam was cool. timmy ripped this version a new one. but the lyrics and melody give me the feel that they just NEEDED a song to start a type of jam.

The jam is awesome, though I do admit I wouldn\'t mind if the lyrics were scrapped for new ones.  There is some jazzy value to parts of the song which I would like to hear more of from the B-boys.  Could also be played instrumental.

Prom 97-- ??? def. not a song.

Love Lake-- great peaking potential! the song is a bit weak again, in my opinion, but tim\'s vocals now would improve the song. but the jam is happy as hell, i love when they peak!

KOTE KOTE KOTE--  :disco: bring this **** back. i like this tune a lot, start to finish.. once again the vocal skills have improved so much that this song would be outstanding now. structure kinda reminded me of Sundance actually. i know someone said adrian likes this (his tune too?) and they were gonna change the lyrics up a little. go for it boys!! cool fuckin song.

Prom 97=garbage.  sorry but it lacks anything of value IMO.

Gypsey Girl=not aweful, but no where near up to par with any other breakfast song i\'ve heard.

Prom 97 doesn\'t even sound like a real song.

i got a sweet sundance at the doozie in poughkeepsie 2.11.05.  i brought a couple noobs to that show, and they all were floored by this tune, but then saddened when i told them that it would probably be a while before they saw the boys plays it again.
ahhhhh! Sundance>Bugs>Sundance.
it\'s been a long time since I\'ve seen a Lit.  that\'d be nice.

I could go for a heather sometime soon.  i\'ve also never gotten to see them play episode I which i happen to think is a great song.  something about it makes me think of bela fleck and the flecktones for some reason.  i\'m gonna download these shelved tunes.

Question Mark isn\'t shelved, just kinda rare. They just played it in NH at the stone church. 5/19/05 Tribal Funk Affliction > Question Mark And The Mind > Tribal Funk Affliction > Sir Psycho Sexy > Tribal Funk Affliction!!!!
that was the hot ****.

I seriously like Gypsy Girl and miss the darn song.

I know of at least one other member on the Gypsy Girl bandwagon and his name is Mark.  Any other G.G. supporters out there?

I actually requested it at a couple of doozies back in 2001 and the band obliged.

zurflu-- ive never heard ANY of the songs on your signature-wich. is there a date on Llama that would take care of most of these? im tired of hearing all these opinions and not knowing what the **** they even sound like.

Love Lake was probably the most commonly played of the shelved tracks below, all the others were played sporadically (Vortex was a 1 timer).

Vortex - See the music section of thebreakfast.net/thebreakfast.org for previewing

Gypsy Girl - 1/26/01 at Toad\'s Place

Love Lake - Baker Quad on 5/5/01

Kote - 5/4/01 At Toad\'s Place ( was played right after Tom Marshall joined the band onstage for YEM)

Prom \'97 - Living Room on 3-28-01 or 8-27-01 at Toad\'s (It\'s not much of a song in my opinion.  I can hear hints of The Chase and Attraction to Shade Ditty in it).

Late and Great - Not sure if there is a show available for download that includes this rare tune.  It used to be downloadable on .info a half year ago.

Hope you enjoy some of these tunes!

adrian badly wants to do something with Kote. he wrote it, and loves it, and wants to bring it back. but the original lyrics would most likely be shelved, as the\'re almost completely false at this point..

What is the scoop on the lyrics?  (Mets fan: Chris Pitch?)

Kote isn\'t a bad song, especially when the band tears through it.

Also, is it pronounced as "Coat" or "Ko-Tee"?  I think I\'ve heard Tim sing both pronunciations at different parts of the song, though it has been a while since I\'ve heard it.

Bring back all the shelved songs, particularly Love Lake, Gypsy Girl, Kote etc.

Take Episode 3 to the stage!!

I hear there has been a push to bring back Frankly Po Zest.  Hopefully the efforts pay off.

I would also like to hear a new organ-driven track in the near future.
Agree
