What happened?  Were you hooked?

I have a great story for this.  The show was 11/19/99 at Butterfield Dorm at UMass.  All week I had seen signs around campus for Psychedelic Breakfast in Butterfield.  Thing is, I had no idea it was a band.  I thought they were going to decorate Butterfield with psychedelia and serve breakfast at 10PM and the whole idea was that you would show up tripping and eat breakfast in the middle of the night and be totally confused.  I really thought this.  I also thought it was the dumbest idea I ever heard, and had no intention of going...

So that night I\'m walking past Butterfield and I heard music inside, and I thought I\'d go in to check it out.  That decision altered the course of my life in drastic ways.  What happened that night was the most incredible live music experience I have ever been a part of.  The band was SO GOOD and the whole dorm was down there but nobody had any idea who the band was or what exactly they were getting into.  Next thing you know, kids are screaming their heads off after every song, stomping on the floor, running into walls, pig-piling on each other, all because this band is playing the most incredible set of music anyone has ever seen.  The fact that it was so out of the blue also contributed greatly.  Everyone just stood there with there jaw literally hanging out during the jams, then went apeshit after each song.  (I love seeing people now who are obviously seeing PB for the first time, standing there with their mouth slackjawed, unable to move or speak.  It happens all the time.)  Finally, at about 2:30am, they finished up, and came out for an encore.  It was so obscenely loud in there before the encore that the chancellor of UMass, who lives half a mile from Butterfield, heard the racket and called the police.  The police came after the first encore and had no hope of restoring order, so PB came out and did another encore in an attempt to satiate the savage beasts they had just created.  After the show, the band partied all night long in the dorm, and were deemed by everyone there to be the 4 coolest guys who had ever walked the earth.  Thus began the Butterfield legend.

I came to a couple of immediate realizations after this show:
1.  I kept saying to myself and to everyone I spoke to: "I have seen the light, and it\'s name is Psychedleic Breakfast".  (Didn\'t know "See the Light" was a song at the time)  I just knew, just immediately and completely knew that this was everything I had ever looked for in a band.
2.  As a big Phish fan who has only been able to see the band since they have played huge shows, I had always wondered what it would have been like to see them at Nectar\'s or a UVM basement.  I think most Phish fans go through this.  As soon as that PB show was over, I knew that I never again had to wonder what it was like to see Phish in a UVM basement.  I now knew exactly what it looked like.
3.  I kidded myself by saying that if PB ever asked me to be in the band, I would drop out of school immediately and join them.  At the time I was thinking of this in terms of as a saxophone player, not tour manager, but regardless, the crazy part is that 2 years later, it happened.

11/19/99 was my first PB show, and to date the craziest concert I have ever been at.  It was the first PB show for just about everyone there.  The people who saw it became the UMass crew that would attend thousands of combined shows over the next few years and create the Butterfield legend.  Who knows what my life would be right now if I had not stumbled in there that night.  I would give $1000 for a tape or $5000 for a video, but I\'ll have the memories forever.  (Not to mention the fantastically altered life.)

So what happened with you and your first show?

Wolf

This was my first show too.

Wolfman, maybe someone does have a tape of this show. Dave?

Someone must have been taping.

I was not into this scene at all until I walked through the magical Butterfield basement doors by mistake and fell in love with a band from CT. Could not believe they were only a year old and were playing shows in basements.

Well the date was last night. I found out monday that the breakfast were playing in the city, and my friend was going to the show most likely because his brother knew jason press in rezi. Anyways having heard the breakfast, and having listened to some of their shows, I immediately wanted to go. I have to say now that I was absolutely blown away by the show last night, everything was just incredible. This band has everything. It all had me in complete awe. This band is just out of this world :)

January 16th, 1999 The Brickhouse East Haven, CT

I: Bouree > Grand Scheme of Things > Bouree, Come Softly > See the Light > Magic Fingers, Puppetry

II: Garcian Fishbowl, Born To Be Wild > Attraction to Shade Diddy > Frankly Po Zest, LDZ > Drunk Monk Bar

III: No Quarter > Walk on the Wild Side, No Glove No Love, Superfly Phaddy Fat

I\'m lucky enough, being a lifelong Stavener (hold the applause), to have seen the Breakfast, then known by some other name which escapes me, at their original stomping ground on Main St. in Staven, The Brickhouse, on Saturday nights throughout the winter and spring of 1999. If you there, you know what I\'m talking about. If you weren\'t, it was a total free-for-all. Three sets from 10 to 2, a highly-inordinate amount of underage drinking, and a band that still had vocal kinks to be worked out, but which obviously had immense musical ability that they displayed with an even mix of originals and covers. It was pretty obvious to us in attendance that these four guys were merely scratching the surface. Despite the fact that the band was in the larvae stage at this time, these shows were always well-attended (75-100 was the usual turnout) with raucous crowds, featuring many of Staven\'s finest shitheads.

The personal highlights for my first show included Magic Fingers, an early example of humor infusion; Garcian, the first Breakfast song I ever loved; LDZ, which was the closest thing they had to a straight rock song at the time; and No Quarter, for obvious reasons.

I went to nearly every Brickhouse show and my love for the band increased with each. Eventually, as expected, they moved on to larger places. But the Brickhouse was the only place in Staven that the Breakfast regularly played and it was only fitting that it all started there, mere minutes from where everybody in the band, and at the time all their fans, lived. When they played Toad\'s a few months later, the Staven faithful turned out in full force and new fans from the surrounding towns followed. There\'s no question that a good portion of the Breakfast\'s early success in the New Haven area derived from the energetic Brickhouse crowds, as we took our boisterous manner of positive expression in relation to the band to such area dives like the Short Beach Saloon, Planet Mars, the Star Cafe, and of course, Rudy\'s, only to have others see and hear the reasons for our enthusiasm, then join along. But of course, most of it had to do with band and their immediate ability to play a variety of tunes in a loud, yet sharp manner.

Here\'s an additonal fact: although that was the first time I saw The Breakfast, it wasn\'t the first time, I saw Tim, Ron and Adrian play. That came in June of 1995 at East Haven High School, when the trio opened for Staven death-metal band Chromatis for a free show that took place after school, on the last day of school, which was also the last day of high school altogther for myself and fellow Breakfast fans Lisa Pec and Justin Maturo. Tim, Ron and Adrian would go on to graduate, along with Dave Pec, in (Prom) 97, but not before the trio treated those in the Staven High auditorium to instrumental rendititions of classic-rock tunes such as Fire and Black Dog. And to top it off, they got an encore, which was Sweet Leaf, with infamous Stavener Jeff Neill on screaming vocals. I left that show with two primary thoughts: 1. those guys can play and 2. those guys need to write their own songs.

Flash forward to 1997 and the birth of Tim and Adrian\'s lite-jazz projects, Magic and Moka Jam, then to 1998 and the Breakfast-predecessor, Naked Society, with Ron now officially aboard as future Breakfast songs like Garcian were debuted instrumentally, then finally to 1999, the introduction of Jordan and vocals, the birth of Psychedelic Breakfast (I knew it would come to me), and my friend Justin Maturo saying to me on Jan. 12 1999, "I saw those guys from Naked Society last week at the Brickhouse. They have a keyboard player, a new name, and some new songs. They were great. They\'re playing tonight. You should check them out."

The rest, as they say, is history.

Also for the record, the Brickhouse sponsored a slow-pitch softball team during the spring of 99 that featured many of the Breakfast\'s early fans, including myself, as manager and pinch hitter. We started slow, then hit our stride to finish 15-14 before losing in the first round of the playoffs. Although that has virtually no literal implications on this post, and regardless of the fact that no members of the band were on the team, I felt it prudent to mention this solely for the purpose of official documentation and full disclosure of the many ways in which the Brickhouse played a part in our lives. Lastly for the record, I haven\'t stepped in the front door since the Breakfast\'s last show there.

Cool, that "everybody" was me!  Not cool about not playing Baltimore though.  You should email the band and tell them that they need to play Baltimore, if you haven\'t already.

May 12th, 2001 - The Met - Providence, RI
I: See The Light > May Fly Disarray, LDZ > Peaches En Regalia > What The Funk > Taboo Or Not Taboot, Merge > Octopus\'s Garden, Son Of Simpleton
II: Attraction To Shade Ditty > Tribal Funk Affliction, Legend of a Mind, The Grand Scheme Of Things > Drum Solo, TGSOT > Language Of The Gods, Lit, No Glove No Love

Gov\'t Mule played at Lupo\'s that night and the PB show was a free aftershow for all the people at Lupo\'s.  I was there with my brother so we figured we\'d check it out.  It was funny because we were standing near the back entrance to the Met at the end of the Mule show, so the band basically started as soon as we walked through the door.  I was tired as hell halfway through the second set so we left a little early, but I had plenty of time to \'see the light\' as someone had already mentioned.  I bought their first CD that night and signed the mailing list and have been hooked since.

March 5th, 2002 ? The Metro Caf?; Washington DC
I: The Chase, Lit, Rufus > No Glove No Love, Superfly Phaddy Fat > Wild Pack of Asscracks, Fairy, Spunk

opening for Jacob Freds Jazz Odyssey

I\'ve never been to the Metro before of since. interesting little place.
Honestly I had only heard maybe 2 PB shows by then, and the only song I recognized was Chase.
still, I was definately impressed. I remember thinking: "Damn, the guitar player plays a LOT of notes."
by the end of their set, I was telling everybody at the merch table that they HAD to come up and play Baltimore.
Oddly enough, I still say this.

What I actually remember most from that night was the guys just dancing around busting a GROOVE during jacob freds set, they were just getting DOWN.
Ended up talking to Tim about my everpresent Disco Ball for about half an hour too. he ended up giving me a copy of II for party favors rendered.

My first show was on Ocean Beach CA @ Winstons 10/10/03. I feel bad that I am a "late bloomer" as I loved their set, style, crowd and the whole thing in general. There were many kynd people there, and I have to say this was one of the best shows I\'ve seen in a long while....

The choice is getting slightly obvioius.....I enjoyed the comparisons, tho, very amusing.  It\'s a bit weird how I ended up hanging out with those people, but the pb crowd is probably more my style anyways.  (someone who thinks the freudian slip is a costume quite doesn\'t comprehend the whole meaning of having fun on halloween.....)  So I love Halloween....and I really want to put my costume to good use....but I heard there\'s a "theme"??  Must I stick to this theme?

I agree that this is a major life decision, and there is really only one correct way to go --- the freakout!! but, not to get too serious and political on ya or anything, not everyone going to the freakout hates bush. in fact, i might even dare to suggest that more people will hate bush at the yale party b/c of the typically liberal slant in acadamia. all in all tho wolfman, i think your characterizations really help make this decision a lot easier for our friend skye!

(and skye.... even if chris doesn\'t ask you to go, the guy:girl ratio at psyche b concerts is usually in our favor!) :)

99? \'99?!

...we\'re not that old school up in herrre (in Central NY). We didn\'t see the light until February of this year (way to go EC).

But I do think I had an out of body experience when my PB cherry was popped... I vaguely recall barking "PUSSIES!!!" at the band when I was in this wierd (hasn\'t happened since) alcohol-induced dream-like pseudo dimentia state. I think they may have been amused. I was.

But I bark strange things when my mind is blown. PB blew my mind. Ikes, I can\'t stop now.

March 12th, 1999 Toad?s Place New Haven, CT
I: Superfly Phaddy Fat, The Vermont Song, The Grand Scheme of Things* > Peaches en Regalia
* First Time Played

this had to be my first pb show, but I know i saw mokijam before this as far back as fall/winter 97.

As I recall, the first time I saw moki jam it was at toads place, and I thought the band was good, the percussionist was great, but the band was eh, whatever.
I talked with them afterwards and they were all cool, and I went to see them a few  times around new haven. Then I heard they broke up. Dave pec told me one day that tim adrien and ron had left the band, and we\'re starting up something new. not moki jam, not naked society, but they were jamming with this organist from staven and it was up there with phish now. This I had to see, but I waited for  whatever reasons, and it was still a few months before the toads show. I distintly remember the day dave told be about pb, and my second moki jam show though, so here they are:

It was a beutiful day at school as I was walking across the quad, and Dave cameup to me and said "I just got rift! weight is the best song ever! what an album" Dave had just started listening to phish, and he knew little compared to me at the time. That all changed in about a week and a half. daves now somewhere around 80+ phish shows and I\'m at 32; and we started with the same show! Anyway, dave kept going on and on about tims new band and that I had to check them out or I would be kicking myself for every show I missed that I could have seen. I waited, and I\'ve been kicking myself for that. I figure I missed a good 20 shows at the beginging between the time dave told me and my first show, but once I started going, I didn\'t stop untill the point of work interfering.  Life was good when I would get out of work, and go see pb as part of my normal day. Ah, college.. seening pb 3-6 times a week. what a time in life.

Anyway, my second moki jam show was billed as "jazz night at toads place." I went with a girl I worked with at the college radio station bc we could get in for free, and I remembered that the percusioninst was really good. Moki jam was one of about 5 bands, and was only the 2nd or 3rd on. I didnt recognise ANYONE there. Probably because there were about 30 people in there, including all the bands and crew. it was a weird night in toads place; no gate, and all the tables were moved out in front of the stage, like a jazz club. We grabed a table right in front of the stage, and then I saw tim. went over to talk to him and he said a line I\'ll never forget: "Hey, after we play, make as much noise as you can, because we only get to do an encore if the croud likes us, and we figured out peaches in regalia, and we want to play it. So please clap." Peaches was one of the only zappa sogs I knew at the time, so we were clapping even if they sounded bad, but intypical form, they turned the croud and got to do there encore. I wish I had a camera or video camera at the time, but I\'ll never forget the look on there faces as they walked back out on the stage to play peaches. Tim never looked so happy.
The rest of that show was all jazz stuff i didn\'t know at the time, but I di remember phantastic television (or whatever the name of that song is), and Simpleton were played (not son of simpleton, but simpleton). damn... that was five years ago!!!

I then saw them at The Ale House in Portland Me. The Arm was hooked.

I wish I could remember the exact date, it was between April 26 and May 2nd 1999.  It was at Toad\'s Place and I had never seen them before.  I had always been curious cause I had worked next to the Brick (crack...I mean) House at CVS and always seen them advertised....I probably can\'t remember the date cause I like to block that night out cause its the night I first met my ex boyfriend.  But I do remember thinking they were amazing.....  and so I think my love of jam bands began.  Before that, my favorite band had been third eye blind (i cant believe I admitted that), a year later my favorite band became Phish. So it sorta began my evolution.  And I also I will never forget that night cause its also the first night I met my friend Chris.  After that, i saw them two more times.  The last time being their New Year\'s Eve show in 1999 at the Union cafe in Hartford.  I was really drunk, but I know they put on a great show....Tim is real amazing.  I\'ve heard they have gotten way better since then and I really look forward to seeing them soon.  So, i am going to make a point to getting around to it.  It\'s really good to see local boys do good.....

Well my introduction to PB was a process.  Back in 99, I was just getting into the live music scene.  I was a late bloomer when it came to Phish, MMW, PB, and all the wonderful artists out there making their own music, and expressing themselves originally.

First piece:  Went to a bar in Branford, Lakeview Tavern.  The guy who owns it originally had a bar in Milford called Allegras.  So I would go up to Lakeview and hang everyonce and a while.  One night there was an open mike jam for a local drummer (formerly of FU Jazzboy) Paul Mills, who was moving to Japan to pursue more music.  Tim and Jordan came in and played a few tunes.  I was completely blown away.  I got to talkin to Tim and found out that they were in a band, Psychedelic Breakfast.  I got a flyer with some dates on it, and I was gone.

Piece 2: Later on that year, getting close to the end of 1999, I was at Rudy\'s in New Haven for a little FU Jazzboy gig.  Well since Paul had moved on to pursue other music in other lands, Jazzboy had an interim drummer, who turned out to be Adrian.  I was blown away by Adrian.  This young man, was keeping up with 2 local live music heros (Jay Rowe and Ronnie Lawrence).  Actually he was showing them up.  I saw Tim and Jordan come into Rudys\' to tape Adrians sit-in.  After this I knew I needed to see this Psychedelic Breakfast.

First PB show:11/27/99 Donovan?s Reef Branford, CT

I: Garcian Fishbowl*, Touch Me > What the Funk, The Chicken > No Glove No Love, Uncle Freddy > Puppetry, Lady Madonna, Bugs, Mooboo?s Voodoo (Episode 2)

II: Superfly Phaddy Fat, Crossroads, Son of Simpleton, Phaddy Boom Baddy, Give Up the Funk > See the Light** > Memory of a Free Festival

* Who are You? tease
** Us and Them tease

Completely blown away by what I saw.  The band, while still noticably young, was playing out of their skins.  I knew that there was something special about this group (fans of the band that were there too)....I was rockin out, and was approached by and introduced to Mr. Freddie Wah.  Kind Kind Kind, is all I have to say about that.   Great band, Great Music, Great vibes all around....

I have seen quite a few PB shows,  I would guess over 30, but could even be closer to 50....and I have said this everytime I have seen them, and this is no exageration, EVERY TIME!....."This band is better then the last time I have seen them."  It is true, and I am sure it will continue to be true....Keepin On Keepin ON.
See you in Danbury!!!!!!

My first show was 04/19/2002.  I don\'t feel like going to get the setlist, but it was the last Callahan\'s show.  I don\'t remember much about how well the band played (but it was definitely the best concert I had ever been to up until that point), but I remember being pumped that I got in since it was an 18+ show and I was only 17.  Now, 14 shows later (including 3 Diesel Experiments), I\'m completely hooked, and I\'m still getting into shows that I should be too young to get into (i.e. La Cocina on Thursday).

By the way, if you ever want to get into a 21+ show if you\'re under 21, show up a good hour before the band goes on and carry some of Chris F\'s taping equipment.

7/1/03 Winston\'s Ocean Beach Ca.
I went to this show because i had bought Bonafide the week before. I found the band online about 3 months prior, downloaded a few songs. I was intrigued by this band and when I saw they were playing Winston\'s I was there.
Now Winston\'s is a small beach bar with the usual crappy lighting and O.K. sound that is known more for happy hour than music. EXCEPT for those in the know.

I knew that a tues. nite would bring no crowd but i was going since if there was no crowd i would be able to see this band and have room to dance. I was blown away from the first note played ! It only got better :) I was entranced by all in the band Jordan ripping it up, Ron laying it down and Adrian keeping it all locked down, but Tim just made my jaw drop on every song. That has not happened to me in a while even Trey is not that "on it" anymore !! Anyway smoking out the bands I see @ Winston\'s is pretty much a ritual so I finangeled my way into the PB crew as they walked outside. As we were walking around the back alley, Tim turns and asks if I was from around there and if it was safe to smoke where we were. In response I smiled and my ritual stayed intact :) So the rest of the nite was basically perfect . I could not believe these guys and then to hear how stoked they were to be playing late nite @  Baja Bash North a few weeks later just got me going as I knew they would blow the minds of all who heard these Behemoths of Rock!!!

Mine was somewhere back in 2001. Not sure of the date, I do remember that it was a Callahan?s show. I went with my good friend Pete (realisthis) and was blown away. Tim did some crazy guitar playing and I was hooked. Well here I am now. I have only been to about 25 + shows. Its picking up steam tough..

After much thought and research I have determined this to be my first:
March 12th, 1999 Toad?s Place New Haven, CT
I: Superfly Phaddy Fat, The Vermont Song, The Grand Scheme of Things* > Peaches en Regalia
* First Time Played

I first met Jordan when he was playing with Shakedown. Then got to know him better when he was with Smoke The Prophet. I learned he had joined the members of a jazz group I had always wanted to check out (Magic?) and had formed a new band which was purportedly off the hook. I missed the first bunch of shows in the winter of \'98-\'99 due to my obsessive desire to ski as many days as possible. When I finally checked them out, I was hooked!!! Here it is 3 1/2 years and 152+ shows later and they never cease to amaze me. They make me do crazy things, like sell very good seats to a sold out Dead show, to go see them at one of the nastiest venues in the northeast (read: Living Room). WELL WORTH IT!!!!!

Peace,
Todd

I was 15.  It was in the woods.  Anyone who was there knows what it was like, and anyone whos been to Echo Lake knows how it can get out there.  I was Twisted and I didnt even believe that what i was seeing was real (most of it probably wasn\'t).

I didnt see PB again until Freddie\'s Jack and Jill, but from then on its been like a crack  addiction.

Kindm\'s - It was the Grapes and Uncle Sammy as well at SONO. I believe the order was US, PB, GVF.

OK.  First PB show was an open mike night, wednesday in November 98.  Some vastly less talented friend of an ex girlfriend was there jamming with most of PB.  I was really impressed with the level of talent these kids who except for jordan still couldn\'t order a beer in a bar displayed.  There were about 7 people present for this one - Cari O very well may have been one of them.  I didn\'t really see them again until 99.  Well the girlfriend dumped me, so I was lone wolfing alot of shows, one of which was a leftover show in 99 where I met Marcial.  Not too long after that was a string of Thursday nights w/ Marcial, Freddie and crew at Rudy\'s, Blues Cafe, Donovan\'s Reef etc.  that is still to this day the golden age of my live music listening career.  I completely relate to a lot of Wolfman\'s perceptions, particularly what must be a universal slack jawed look that comes over the first timers which sort of migrates from a look of confusion as to whether they are actually witnessing this and is it really as good as they think is to a grin when they realize it is.

October 20th, 2000 Toad\'s Place New Haven, CT
I: Funk > Sundance, LDZ > Frankly Po Zest, Phaddy Boom Baddy, Gladys Pimp > May Fly Disarray

All I remember was Jocelyn telling me and Travis that we had to check out this band Max Creek, and we said that it was cool and we\'d check em out with her. We got down there and parked the truck somewhere and headed to Toad\'s. We didn\'t know what to expect and this band came on and totally blew us away. The whole place was just shaking from everyone going crazy! I don\'t think that I could ever forget that show. I danced so hard that I actually passed out on the bench on the side of the room. And I ended up being woken up by Pat The Head Dancing Hippie running around the room screaming his head off. It was the funniest awakening I\'ve ever experienced. So after the show ended we left the building to go home. Keep in mind there was 5 of us and 4 out of 5 of us were tripping their asses off. So we wandered around and around New Haven looking for the truck. A couple of them yelling out "Jimmy! Jimmy the Truck! Where are you!" This is at 3 in the morning looking for a damn truck in New Haven, CT. There are cops all over the place so everyone starts getting all worried about dealing with cops cuz we\'re a bunch of hippies walking around thier town at 3 in the morning. Finally we found the truck. ( I can\'t believe it took that long because the thing is freakin huge! It was a ford diesel. It didn\'t make sense) It was actually parked right next to the cemetry, the last place we expected because one of the girls didn\'t want to park near it, and we finally felt nice and safe in the truck. Best concert experience I think. Well if not best definitly cutting it damn close! Thought I\'d share!

Well Haven\'t been on board as long as you guys but my first PB show was in July 2001. They were playing a show following SONO if Iremeber correctly w/ The Grapes of Vaudevillian Fantasy. Kim and I hadn\'t been doing a lot of live music since Jerry had passed and this was our first step back out in to the scene so to speak. I had never heard of PB but had heard of the Grapes. Jon (the guy promoting the show) was a Terrapin "Boardie" when the message board was small and several of us had decided to meet there for the first time on a face to face basis. Well I will never forget standing in the back checking out this guy who was taping the sets on a Tower PC and Then these guys take the stage. PB launches in to their typical high energy in your face set. I remember the grin apperaing from ear to ear and I couldn\'t stop asking Kim who are these guys. Needless to say that was all that was needed and I got on the bus. So 2 years later and Many, many PB shows later I still can\'t get enough. Their music has pushed my hobby for taping and all of the people I have met in the PB family have been great people. My Favorite Band period!!

Unfortunately, I don\'t remeber the exact date of my first show... only that it was at Toad\'s place sometime in early 1999.  PB was playing with Moki Jam and they were both opening for Max Creek.  I had just recently moved to CT and the people in my office told me that, since I like the Dead, I should check out Max Creek.  Anyway, I went to the show solo and of course was blown away.  The 2 songs I remember are Super Fly and Phaddy Boom.  When Creek finally took the stage, I was thinking, damn THESE GUYS should have been opening!  I distinctly remember seeing several people there that night, including freddiewaht, who I had never met, but would later go on to become great friends of mine.   I signed up on the mailing list that night & saw no telling how many subsequent shows over the ensuing 2 1/2 years (mostly with my touring partner the wah), until I moved away in late September 2001.

Since I moved down to South Fl, I have still managed to see around 5 shows a year.  At the end of this month, I will be moving to AL, which is a much more centralized location... hopefully I wil be able to get that number considerably higher.

Well I first heard of PB back in 1999 when I wandered into CD Revolution in Orange and browsed through their local bans bin.  I picked up PB\'s debut that day based solely on the album cover and song titles in the back.   I spent days after drooling in a mindless stupor.  I spent the next year in a half trying to find rides to any PB show, I needed to see them.  Finally its a year later and I\'m a senior in high school and taking a TV production class.  I decided for my first semester project I would document a band, and well as it went I thought PB was the perfect choice.  So I called up Josh and sure enough he hooked me up for the show.  I ended up taking my camera and spent a good two hours taping soundcheck and interviewing the boys backstage.  My camera lasted up until mid-Sundance, by that point I told me friend Kurt to stop filming and enjoy every **** note!!!  What a wonderful night that was, what makes it even more wonderful is the fact I have it all on tape!!!  Anyways bottom line killer opening  Funk jam which segued flawlessly into Sundance!! LDZ>Frankly (WOW COULD YOU FEEL THE HEAT THAT NIGHT)!!!  Take away Phaddy Boom Baddy and replace it with song x and you had one perfect PB cherry popper!!!

Where was your first show?  When?
