agreed.
it sounds mauch better then the previous night.
aud. copy is good for me too. LP is not for me.
-
Yeah they do. Trey must think the band clicked this night as he has it up on LivePhish. Now I like this show and all even being thrown by new versions but I think my aud. recording will be just fine thank you.

big fan of The Way I Feel. they do it justice here I believe.

especially with the songs that the horn driven TAB had. i am so use to hearing them with the horns that songs like Push, although they have potential in this arrangement, I feel like something isn\'t right when I do not hear the horns come in. Maybe its because I have heard the songs so many times the old way and the sudden change sent my mind in a spiral.

Yeah I think it is 70 Volt Parade. I think maybe because it is sooo different than TAB that I find it interesting. One thing I admire abt Trey is his willingness to try and venture into different band configurations. He is not afraid to change songs up (even within TAB/Phish he did so). Anyway I just got done listening to Push On and for me he ruined this song by changing it. It\'s a decent song in this arrangement but I like the old one better.

I was refering to the 4/26 show I believe. I probably was just a little shocked by what I heard that day. It is a different pace from the old TAB band.
Isn\'t this band called 70 volt parade?

oh I see \'cause your post that i quoted was on 4/28 i thought you were saying 4/27 being last night\'s show from a 4/28 post was shitty and I def. do not think so.

I downloaded 4/27/2005 this afternoon and haven\'t listened to it yet. I have confidence in Trey, but I hate the ones I love. So, If I am a little hard on the guy, it\'s only outta love for him. I hope that he pulls it off because I was initially excited when Trey first announced this line up. It looks like JazzFest went well for him too. So maybe he was a little nervous having only practiced 3 times with the band before doing a show.
Still don\'t want to hear the Phish tunes. New band must equal New material. Also, Trey please stop playing slow ballardish tunes. They bore people and put them to sleep. 1 OR 2, maybe, try to keep it under 1. Thank You

already got last nights...
sounds just as shitty.
1st thank goodness etree is back.
2nd I am listening to 4/27/05 right now and I have no clue what you are talking abt. Sure the band is a little rough but they sound fine. Not as good as TABv3 but then I think they were as good or better than Phish post \'99. What did you not like abt it?
I nvr heard What\'s Done that tune is great. Cayman Review, Drifting, even Plasma are done fine just different than I\'m used to but Trey is in good form and this is a HELL OF ALOT better than the Vt. show a little while back. Gonna listen to the 2nd set it looks tasty. Push on, 46 Days, Mr. Completely. Man, I say give this band some time. I\'m stoked to check them out when they come play Coors Amp on 7/27. Trey is no fool. He would not take these guys out if he did not think they could pull. So far he\'s proving this true to me @ least.
