good looks on the avatar feature.  I never am sure how to rep myself, thus I am not really a fan, but people seem to dig em.

Finally **** \'eh Dave?

main thing was, i wanted it to be opt-in, not opt-out. figured out how to get everyone\'s turned OFF, and went with it..

Also, when I logged in and first came to the forum this time, I notcied where the ads usually are it notified me of new posts/threads/replies or something of the sort, that new or was I just blind for the past few months/years?

no, that\'s brand new. it\'ll be cleaner soon too.. figured since i was enabling avatars, i might as well set up a welcome panel that shows it when you log in.

fyi - you can have an avatar, even if you choose to NOT view them in posts..

if you want to use one, User CP > Edit Avatar. the 4 album covers are there right now, or you can upload your own.

if you want to see avatars in posts, User CP > Edit Options > Thread Display Options > Show Avatars. you must enable this if you want to see avatars in the forums. by default, you are set to NO.
