the meadows lot show (allmans) was a blast.. short but very sweet. I remember trying to hunt down percocets or something similar for Adrian.. somehow he managed to pull a muscle in his back and was in serious pain. Luckily we found some.. listening to the recording you\'d never know he was playing in pain.. he\'s my hero;)

Pretty sure this was the Butterfield when I decided, like a jack ass, to drive from Staven only being able to see out of one eye (contact lense issue), ended up raiding some kick ass microwavable dumplings out of some fridge, and roamed Butterfield until 7:00am when I was driven home by my brother. Was this also the one where Kev Ross gave a poetry reading?

4/1/00.  First show I ever had on tape, so I\'ve listened to it about 500 times.  Absolutely unbelievable No Quarter, Space Oddity, and 2MPH Buquebus.  Happy birthday to Freddie Wah in Wahs.  Dave Pec driving the crowd into a crazed frenzy during Special Secret Song Inside.  And in one of the funniest moments ever caught on tape, they played the opening movement to YEM, only to say it was an April Fools prank, which basically started a riot.  Overall a smashing show and the crowd recation throught is as good as it gets.  The crowd cheers at every point in every jam that a good crowd should.  Hey, it was Butterfield.

I remember it being your favorite show till the Breakfast played Quadfest on 5-5-01.

I think there was some problem with set 1, possibly due to some drunk singing into the mic.  I have the show on tape.
