Here is a couple that I can remember of the top of my head really getting owned by.
1/12/02 Callahan\'s Jam->Merge->Help/Slip->Ep. 2
1/22/02 Blue\'s Cafe Voodoo Child(Slight Return) w/Mike from Sipowitz
6/1/02 Short Beach Wake Up in a Coma w/ "Coming \'Round the Mountain" jam
8/1/02 Band Slam China Cat-> Buquebus...For Jerry\'s BDay
8/2/02 Holyoke Puppetry->Ep. 2->Puppetry
8/4/02 Sun Fire Superfly Fatty Fat w/ Chalkdust and Bowie teases
By the way the BreakFEST even if it is only one day should be up at that place in Portland that the Sunfire was held at that place was cool and had a kitchen so there could be food. Had plenty of parking too so there would be no cap on Ticket sales and it was easy as hell to find.

as of late, any jam coming out of Gravity, has been doing it for me. very organic in nature, the way they cause periods of tension and release..
-
Rufus>Mooboo\'s 1/26/01
hell yeah...
My collection of shows isn\'t complete enough to go into specific dates.. but I love a good
Mooboo\'s Voodoo!
Phaddy Boom Baddy (a nice long one)
Gladys Pimp and Kangaroos w/Me
The Grand Scheme of Things
What The Funk (this song should be 10 minutes or more every time heheh)
and how could I almost forget...
Etcher\'s Etchings!
-
3/4 Scheme was definitly a face melter. and i\'m gonna go ahead and agree with gabe about the 2/11 Tribal>Sir Psycho Sexy>Tribal.

Bring back MILES BEYOND!!! and HOPE!!
SOme of the Gypsy Girls were nice, slow and saucy!!!
-
I am not too sure if I have ever heard the breakfast play a "slow jam".....maybe you are thinking of another band Joey-boy....
I have been DYING for the breakfast to slow it down at parts and let that one note ring and ring...but trying to slow down timmy and animal would be like trying to stop a metro north train by tossing your body in front of it....
Miles Beyond at The Brown Underground on 3-16-01 may qualify.
-
the breakfast slowed down in a **** jam would make me blow a friggin load....
I will continue to hark back to 7-4-04 Tim with Kyle and Megan. Timmy was playing these slow melodic solos all night. And the work he did on Bird Song that night still brings a tear to my eye as the best solo timmy jam I have heard to date...
-
I have a few slow jams on a few shows, they\'re rare BUT they do exist. But yeah Gencs, they really need to slow it down. I could only imagine how pristine the sound would be.

Jam>sleeping Beauty From Oneonta=ser
I think many of the jams into sleeping beauty have been ser, that may have to be a starting point for some real sick jams, possible a little more improv and then hit it with the beaut.
Definately some potential for the jam>sleeping beauty
-
recent, tossup oddity 3/12 and TGBFBITS 3/25, 3/25 made me sweat more (i think), so ill go with that one
-
jam during legend of a mind from 2-4-05 is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!
jam during mooboo\'s fom 1-31-04 is CRAZY!!!!!!
jam during \'99-\'05 have been SICK!!!!!!

Jam>sleeping Beauty From Oneonta=ser
-
oh, the best breakfast jam is the one that hasn\'t happened yet!
There are so many but from more recently, it is 3/4 GSOT or 3/25 GBFBITS
Good question, So many answers
-
Some amazing jams from the 11-17-2000 Butterfield show, though so few have copies of it. I would say there are 5 or less copies of that show in existence. It\'s my favorite set of Breakfast ever. Baja Bash 2004 has some great stuff too.
-
even the What the Funk on 3.12.05 is just nasty, but Space Oddity prolly takes the cake. theres too many lately, though!!!
-
cool how they drop out of \'Space Oddity\' into a memorable jam...Rons bass just kicks the **** into gear..(listening to the show from the Call 3/12 ) and thinkin back on the 9 ..no right or wrong answers here
-
i remember being completley blown away by the Space Oddity from their last stop this december (13th?) at Cafe9...
that whole 2nd set was killer
i think wah wrote that one...
-
10/10/03 Winston\'s HLH>Cosmic. The jam going into Cosmic is absolutely soul-lifting.
-
3/4/05 The Grand Scheme of Things.
-
3/25/05 Porters Tap Room: TGBFBITS JAM
-
Ya know every time I see these guys it seems like the best show/jamz that I\'ve ever seen but I really think one of the best jams this year has got to be between Doughboy and the Score from Porter\'s 3-25-05. The whole night was was filled with blistering solos and jamz and musicianship that you only get from The Breakfast, but those two tunes really stood out for me.
Speaking of Porter\'s 3-25-05 who taped that night? When are we going to get it?
-
Gladys Pimp and Kangaroos With Me, 03/04/2005
-
Rufus>Moobo\'s 1/26/01, fav Breakfast jam of all time...
Buquebus 8/9/01
Drunk Monk Bar, Beef Barley>Lets Make it Last>Beef Barley 8/7/03, the night I fell in love with Ron Spears
-
Just listened to the 3-12-05 show...gotta agree that the space oddity is insane!!!
-
recent faveorite has to be Gladys Pimp on the Guilford green... see Radio Joe for details
-
3/25/05 Porters Tap Room: TGBFBITS JAM
-
oh yeah, was quite an oddity
-
I wouldn\'t necessarily say it\'s the "best ever", but what comes to mind from recent shows is the 3/12/05 Space Oddity.
-
see what we can come up with although there are way to many to list. i know everybodys answer would like to be "every jam the\'ve ever played" but here goes..........
3-30-01 See the light Umass
7-27-01 Rufus Camp Creek
......
....
