do they like Ween?? always wondered what a Ween cover would sound like. So many different layers of style to mess with. Has it been done??
Sorry for all the questions. Can\'t think of any segues as of now, but I shall not be defeated...

I just came up with this one while listening to Funkadelic, and since I\'m a big dork and immediately think "what coucld the Breakfast do with that" whenever I listen to any other band, here goes:
Maggot Brain > Nights in White Satin > Maggot Brain > No Regret

That is what we call a Segwich on timmy tour....

Since Dave mentioned the Hard Luck > Gladys thing (don\'t feel like going back to quote right now), how\'s about this:
The Grand Scheme of Things (Part 1) > Hard Luck Harry (Part 1) > Gladys Pimp & Kangaroos With Me > Hard Luck Harry (Part 2) > Drum Solo > The Grand Scheme of Things (Part 2)
You could also easily place Escher\'s, Rufus, Wild Pack, and a bunch of others in this mix.

it\'s all about ENERGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mine is better!

Drew, those are nice.....
-
Getting back to realistic seques (realistic in that The Breakfast actually plays of the songs involved)
Hard Luck Harry > Merge > Hard Luck Harry
Simple, but it would work swimmingly (and it\'s got a bit of theme going on).
And the grandaddy of them all...
The Grand Scheme of Things intro > In the Flesh > The Grand Scheme of Things > Drum Solo > Lit > space > Question Mark and the Mind > The Grand Scheme of Things
-
I have been dying for a VT>Willie and the Hand Jive for a long long time now......

drew, how could you NOT include \'Jungle Fever\' in there?!
;)

In keeping with the "theme segues"
Shakedown Street > Penny Lane > Vera St. > Thunder Road > Mean Street > Electric Avenue > Shakedown Street > The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion)
-- OR --
Welcome to the Jungle > Run Through the Jungle > Jungle Love (Steve Miller) > Jungle Boogie > Jungle Love (Morris Day and the Time) > Welcome to the Jungle

i would love to hear this nicely themed segued set
Here Comes the Sun>Sun is Shining>Fortunate Son>SunDance>Son Of Mr. Green Genes> Son of Simpleton...Here Comes Sunshine

VT segue GD style: Vt. Song>Willie and the Hand Jive>NFA> Vt. Song>GDTRFB>NFA> Vt. Song.
To see Marcial explode: Attraction>Imitation Leather Shoes>Llama>Sometimes>Attraction
-
Language of the Gods > Sympathy For the Devil > Language of the Gods
Vermont Song > Every Bo Diddley song ever written > Vermont Song

To celebrate my 500th post, how about this one? More for a Timmy solo or Boomers/Chicken Parm show.
Noticed a striking similarity between the middle two earlier while having a quiet strum.
Ten Years Ago (Roy Harper) >
Sharon (David Bromberg - also covered by wsp, I believe) >
VT Song (Psychedelic Breakfast) >
Pinball Wizard (The Who)
All artists included in case there are any newbies out there - see multiple posts above! ;)

been thinking about these for a long time now.. they all would work perfectly:
Tribal Funk Affliction > Camel Walk (Phish) > Tribal Funk Affliction (obviously inserted into the funk breakdown of TFA)
Rufus > Material Girl (Madonna) (at the end, when it breaks down into the solo)
also, the b\'fast has a lot of songs that can really be split up into 2 distinct parts, and i\'d really like to see them take advantage of this more with segues.. on example would be:
(part 1 of) Hard Luck Harry > (part 2 of) Gladys Pimp
^^ and vice versa..

Just come up w/ a segue you\'d like to see w/ original songs, covers they play, or covers they don\'t even play. Here\'s the personal favorite of mine so far:
Bang on the drum all day(todd rundgren)> rufus> working man(rush)> rufus
w/ timmy yelling \'I don\'t wanna work...\' and Ron continuing his great Geddy Lee chops, this could be greatness.
I\'ve told them before. Cover La Via Strangiato. That should be the next stop on the rush train. After that a three way tie between By-tor and the snowdog, cygnus x-1 book 1 into book 2 (hemispheres) and natural science, then 2112 side A, then...
