Joc, you like jazz, then. How about this beauty that\'s just gone up on EZT?

I have those Paul but thanks.... If you want jazz boots, seriously check out that site.  Lots of rarities: Vitous, Di Meola etc... And obvious ones such as McLaughlin, Brekker, Davis, etc....

Joc I\'ve got the outtakes from the kind of blue sessions if you want them. Dont have much in the way of jazz boots though.

Weasels was the first Zappa I bought after hearing Dweezil doing My Guitar... Up till then, I only had a 3rd generation C90 cassette compilation. Bought Weasels as a twofer with Burnt Weeny Sandwich - both are excellent.

And yes, FZ\'s original was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better - check out the acoustic solo.

As for EZT they\'ve got a load of Miles Lost Quintet stuff from 1969 at the moment - Bitching overload!!!!!!

I knew I was going to get that from you Paul.

I know Zappa can play some jazz and write some good standards.

btw, It\'s not e-tree. Different site altogether.

Screw zappa? I\'m not on e-tree, but that must be a pretty damn good collection. Jazz isnt dead, it just smells funny.

Joc, go get yourself a copy of \'weasels ripped my flesh\'. Zappa played dada-influenced jazz and all the rock fans scratched their heads.

joc, I am a member of easytree and get stuff from there all the time. Am more than willing to get you something if you want it, and I have 30-odd shows already. PM me if you\'re interested. There is also a dedicated zappa site called zappaters.com, with links to newsgroups etc.

The site is now hosting most of its torrents on EZT. Most of the regular zappateers can be found there - look for posts by erroneus, bogus pomp and Clancy Wiggum and master ninja as a starting point, though there are others.

Will pm you my list in asecond.

I have some Zappa and Clarke solo and RTF, all on vinyl. A friend of mine has a program to burn to CD, so I can get a list to you and do that if you want.

Zappa recordings. Where can I find them?

Also, looking for Stanley Clarke recordings. With or without Corea. Would also love to find some Rite of Strings.

If anyone has any leads as to where I could find this stuff it would be greatly appreciated!
