I just got this jazz CD at the library and I liked it right off:

Third World Love "New Blues"
(trumpet/flugelhorn, piano, bass, drums; NYC 2007)

Very expressive playing, a little latin flavor, surprised to like most songs on a first listen.

For anyone who likes Jazz I just picked up 2 new discs that veryone should go get in case you don\'t have them already...

Wayne Shorter "Speak No Evil"; this is with Shorter, tenor; Freddie Hubbard, trumpet; Herbie Hancock, piano; Ron Carter, bass; Elvin Jones, drums.

The Quintet "Jazz at Massey Hall"
w/ Dizzy Gillespie,trumpet; Charlie Parker,alto; Bud Powell,piano; Charles Mingus,bass; Max Roach,drums.

Great albums re-released...I just wish they would remaster the Jazz at Massey Hall.  Mingus taped it that night on a reel to reel and there are some noticeable drop-outs but the musicianship of those five individuals is breathtaking.

The Shorter disc is great too.  I like hearing a young Herbie Hancock on the piano.
