As for gong and offshoots, I\'ve not caught gongzilla yet - only discovered them in the last couple of days through wayne\'s excellent recording mentioned in the BT forum, which I recommend anyone with some spare bandwidth to download. Good to see chuch sitting in - gz\'s guitarist sat in with them earlier this year.

Have seen three or four different lineups of gong, daevid on his own (wild acoustic show) and University of Errors (with Josh Pollock on guitar) twice. Haven\'t seen the latest incarnation of gong as they have cancelled the tour due to costs; hoping for a mini-festival in the spring, if Daevid and Gilli\'s statements on their website are to be believed. UoE are probably among the better shows I\'ve seen (lots of energy with a mixture of Gong, Soft Machine and UoE originals), though I\'ve yet to see any version have a bad night!!

Their first album is a veritable classic, but not heard much since then, though I know the singer and guitarist are still touring.

I have never kept track of numbers, it gives me a headache to try and think about numbers.... but I have definitely seen all of these 5+ times:

Breakfast & Side Projects
Various GD members\' bands
MMW
John Scofield
Jerry Bergonzi, about a zillion times
Soulive
Bela/ Bela and Flecktones/ Victor Wooten\'s band
Chick Corea
Phish

There may be others... and there are definitely quite a few in the 3 or 4 range... Herbie Hancock, Sonny Rollins, etc.....

Is Deep Banana still a touring band?  I haven\'t heard much about them recently (I\'m just talking press and word-of-mouth because I am not even sure if I have ever heard them, though I most likely did while at UMass with all the hippies).

Keep the 5+\'s coming!!

I\'ve seen moe. once at the Belly Up tavern in Solano Beach. I don\'t like them up enough to drive to LA and they haven\'t played in the Orange County area since. The Seapods had a much larger tour radius for me, so I would go to LA, San Francisco and Las Vegas shows.

Was never a great gig-goer, but as mine are going to be, shall we say, a *bit* different, thought I\'d add \'em. All 5+ except fc  and H&T on whom I\'ve lost count.

Fairport Convention
Huw & Tony Williams (Welsh folk duo)
Gong & offshoots
Hawkwind & offshoots
Motorhead
Arthur Lee & Love
Manic Street Preachers

Like wayne, have seen many, many other bands, but only once or twice.

Other than PB, the only possibilities would be local punk bands in high school.

I\'m just curious to see what bands all you ser fans frequent besides the Breakfast.  The easiest way to do so, I guess, is to take a tally of what bands you\'ve all seen 5 or more times.  5 seems to be a good number to base on whether or not you like a band enough to go see them 5 times(duh).

For me it\'d be as follows:

moe.- 51
the Breakfast- 11
Phish- 7
The Disco Biscuits- 6
Les Claypool\'s Frog Brigade- 6
Phil n Friends/The Other Ones/ The Dead- 5

I think thats it, there are a bunch of other bands that are at 3 and 4, but thats why I kept this list at 5 and above(so I wouldn\'t have to try to think to hard).
