I lucked out and got it for $38 on Monday, though my sister who works at cduniverse.com in Wallingford; she gets stuff at cost!!
Good box set...if yer a die-hard. Some of the material on the discs are Kurt solo demos on acoustics and sound sorta raunchy. I like the alternate lyrics on some of the tracks and not to mention the botched up Zeppelin covers. The DVD is cool though...old stuff from the \'Bleach\' tour and what not, Dave Grohl\'s 1st show. My favortie part was during a \'92 performance (right when Nirvana was gettin huge) Kurt sarcastically says to the crowd, "Do you know how much money we have?".

Ahh what the hell, send me the preorder discount link as well. I live at home with my parents so I can\'t complain about spending money. Nirvana was my favorite band from 5th grade through middle school. I am due to revisit a lot of that music.

amazon\'s usually really good with preorders. even using their slowest (free) shipping option, i usually get preorders from them day of / day after release, sometimes day before. i\'ve never used anything but the slowest shipping before, so i\'m guessing you\'ll get it quicker if you want a faster shipping option.
anyone else that wants the 10%, please let me know before tomorrow, as i can only send it out at the time my order is placed.

Universal Music will release a 3-CD Nirvana box set this November. The collection was originally intended for release in Christmas 2001 to coincide with the 10-year anniversary of Nirvana\'s breakthrough album "Nevermind." But surviving members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic were thwarted by lawsuits from Cobain\'s widow Courtney Love, who objected to their planned use of the previously unreleased track "You Know You\'re Right." The dispute was eventually settled in September 2002, and the track was included on a compilation CD released in October 2002. A limited edition of the yet-untitled 3CD set also will be released and will include a bonus DVD featuring footage of the band playing at a 1987 house party.
