i vote for donivans just because I always loved the venue, but since I dont drink i havent been there since the last time the boys played there.
gotta agree with dave though, i forsee south western ct getting more solo dates than new haven will in the future. why would tim drive all the way up to new haven if he could make the same $$ closer to home?
(besides to see all of us that is)
-
I vote for Downey\'s. Lots of room at Manor Drive to crash as well. Nothing farther than New Haven for me.

acoustic cafe in bridgeport would be nice. i think it would be worth the drive, but i dont know how easy it would be for tim to get a regular gig there every week if they book a lot of other bands.

Just a selfish request :)

Kindm\'s, you may get your wish since Timmy is relocating to SoNo...
MattVallo, I dont even know where Middletown is, but Harbor Park sounds like a cool ass venue
Tickler, Guilford? It\'s Milford with a "Gui", and that just aint as cool...
Wah, The Brickhouse. I never been, but bringin it all back home sounds like a great idea...
Joce, nice try. But I dont think the "live free or die" state will get regular solo timmy shows. sorry darlin\'. We got horses and **** here in CT, why dont you come get your nutmeg on?

I have never been there before even though its near my house, but i have seen them renovating it all week this. I am not sure if its still the Old Dublin or if they still have bands play there.

Also, beer is cheap in NH! And, you can smoke indoors, which is good for some of you and bad for the rest.....
-
I vote for The Nashua Garden in Nashua, NH... :D .... So it\'s a bit of a drive? Well... so what, your turn to drive. Plus: fantastic sandwiches (my personal favorite: The Buckner: 2 slices of white bread with nothing in the middle, for $19.86  ), beat the clock (therefore full house) on Wednesdays, excellent selection of beers on tap (including Smuttynose IPA, yum!), and a wonderful collection of various Boston sports memorabilia etc. adorning every open space. I KNOW you guys would love that. ;)

Is the old dublin kinda near the Oakdale?
That place is pretty cool, but kinda far....
But for Timmy Tour, I am willing to sacrafice....Wallingford, Cheshire, Norwalk...Whereever......

This Fairfield U representative has no problem with the whole crew coming down every Wednesday. Pregame party in my room!
-
That is very kind of you, and I will probably hold you to that at some point or another.....
-
Actually it\'s about 3 minutes, but seriously it would be a cool spot.
Don\'t worry Steve, you are welcome to crash at my place anytime!

yeah perfect because you live like 5 minutes away.....
I hear you on the Porters thing though. That would make for a super extra rough thursday......
We gotta think "central location".....
but this could all be moot if Tim doesn\'t want to play on Wednesdays anymore......
-
I vote for somehwere within Birmigham city limits.
-
Downey\'s in Cheshire (271-1910 - Tim call them!) would be a perfect place. Really nice room to play in, you guys would dig it. Not to mention pregames at Rustic Lane!
I would not be driving out to Porters on a regular basis during the week, and I don\'t think the place lends itself to the intimacy of what these shows should be. Side Street might be OK.
-
Have to agree Walsh. BAR has advantages in size, location, food, drink, and Tim has already broken the ice on Fridays. I\'d vote BAR even if they didn\'t make a tremendous apizza.
Pitch
-
I vote for bar because of the Pizza and amazing beer that Jeff brews...while we are at it though how\'s about Eli\'s...they gotta like the turnout and bar bills from the Monday night debauchery.
