being the oldnewbie, i have never seen a diesel and being the deadhead that i am, i was really looking forward to this......also sorry i missed ripple last night :(
-
Clapton is at Great Woods with RR, for anyone not going to this.
-
diesel experiments are way under appriciated for the amount of work it takes to put one on. They have to learn new songs and play with musicians that they never play with. Its pretty much pointless to even bother doing one if the same 4 or 5 people are the only ones who go to them. I guess thats why there have not been very many since 2002.

boooooo-(buh!)
hehe, quote of the night, right behind "You better habve jager next week, I promise to drink enough to justify it, but you better have it. JAGERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Tim was saying last night how diesels are way too much work bc he has to learn and practice the band on all the songs. solo acoustics are the way to go

um, hate to be a second bearer of bad news, but ronnie is getting married and then going on his honeymoon... he\'ll be MIA for the majority of june...

"I love how he puts his own spin on the songs"
exactly..... This is what makes it so sweet when they cover stuff, IMO.
-
Pls have this show sent West anyone. I will pay S&H and for the discs.
What a 4th of July that will be! Though Tim really does not have that JG sound @ all I love how he puts his own spin on the songs. I really could not get enough GD from anyone of his caliber anyway.

Wait. There is a grateful dead diesel on july 4th? at porters?
that is some sweet sweet sweetness...
porters is great becasue it is owned and operated by some great **** kidzzz and it has the ceiling/floor vortex.
towards the end of the last show there, i was downstairs looking up at ronnie and timmy. it was one of my single greatest PB viewing experiences. not quite the callahans kitchen door spot. no spot will ever top that one........
The Diesel Experiments: The Grateful Dead With Tim, Adrian, Jordan, Kyle Esposito, and Megan Johnson

I love the fact that Timmy is hitting the local scene. I am still dying for a Ronnie guest spot at any of these, especially a wooster st gig.....

Everyone seems to think Porter\'s is a fun venue. Thoughts?
