indeed...and I hope the same for TREY
-
kuroda is in rehab i hope he gets the help he needs!!
-
I for one would be happy to see Phish with a different lighting person. I enjoy what Kuroda does but it has become very stale to me. I find it all the more obvious when attending multi-night runs.
-
Anyone else think Phish will play Taxman tonite? Just a thought.

Yeah, I was a member of CK5 and fully believe Chris is a full member of the band. The only other person I can say that of is Candace Brightman for The Dead. His lighting( yes as a lighting designer myself i admit some bias) has inspired that band and when i see the artistry of his latest rig or programming trick i get off big. Notice I only chose one show to bail on. I mean the 4 guys that play Musical instruments are pretty damn good even in the dark! I just can not see going to all 3 if Chris is not there.

We\'re sorry to announce that Phish lighting director Chris Kuroda won\'t be at the board for the Las Vegas shows due to personal reasons. Our good friend Fenton Williams, longtime lighting director for Dave Matthews Band, will be filling in. We\'re grateful to Fenton for rallying to the cause on such short notice and hope you\'ll join us in welcoming him to the fold for the Vegas shows.
SO i guess my tix for @ least one nite are gettin\' sold. **** that !

Friends,
After almost 10 years of continual semi-regular updating, I am putting my Phish page to rest.
I have very much enjoyed keeping this site up to date for so many years and hearing about how it has brought much joy into your lives. The simple truth is that I am no longer at a point where I can continue to put my energies into it in the manner in which it deserves. Instead of feeling like I\'m neglecting something and to avoid letting it simply fall into outdated oblivion, I want to make it clear that I won\'t be updating or maintaining the information here any longer.
I\'ve always believed in giving props to those that deserve it, and I\'ve included links at the top of this page to sites that can provide the most complete and up to date information on Phish.
I\'ve very much got my work cut out for me as my energy is diverted away from the Phish page. For the last 5 years, I have been developing JamBase as a daily destination for tour dates and information for thousands of bands around the world. The goal of JamBase has been simple: To connect music fans everywhere with the music they love.
The story of JamBase actually begins with this Phish page. As my musical tastes began evolving beyond the Vermont foursome in 1998, I started linking to the official websites of different bands from the bottom of my Phish page. These bands shared a common energy with my love for Phish and it seemed were connected through a collective scene. As the list evolved, I quickly realized that if anyone wanted to know when one of those bands was playing in their home town, they would have to go each of the official websites individually. At the time, there was no centralized system for organizing tour dates about the bands that I liked, so I started a database. What began as a mere hobby has grown into a full fledged business endeavor, and JamBase currently serves as a music marketing company helping bands and fans connect all over the world.
We just launched a new site this week, and with it comes new opportunities and challenges. The fresh face represents a chance to grow from a new foundation, and I\'m extremely excited about the road ahead. Focusing on how to continue to best serve our vibrant musical community, I very much look forward to sharing good times with all of you as we evolve to the next level together.
Thanks again for giving me the opportunity, positive reinforcement, and well wishes to continue maintaining this site for so long. I will surely miss it, but the best is yet to come.
The time has come when I can finally say that this has all been wonderful, but now I\'m on my way...
Peace,
Andy Gadiel
San Francisco, CA
p.s. While I won\'t be in Las Vegas this weekend (I\'m heading back to Chicago for some family celebrations), I wish you all the best in bliss and am excited to see the Phish boys again the next time they come my way.
best phish site for a long time.. gadiel\'s page will be missed.. :(

not one southern or west coast date

Just look at the dates and the venues....A minor leage baseball stadium for starters...It seems that they bigger bands get, the more they can do whatever they want such as have odd tour dates like this...

how come its weird?

hope they move yasgur\'s
-
okay, I officially am pissed now, heh. as of from what I have heard the 35th reunion at Yasgur\'s farm is slated for 8/13-8/15. And it looks as if the Phish fest will be the same weekend, BS I tell ya. Although jambase had Yasgur\'s listed as that, and now have nothing listed, and Yasgur site has it 20-22

Hah I\'m going to Vegas to get my Phish. Oh and Umphrey\'s and moe. and JHB and ALO. Damn this week rocks for music 2 breakfast shows + all the above.

I am so very excited. I haven\'t seen a show in a very long time, and I proclaimed this the summer I would see as many shows as I could. Definitely looks like I will be at Great Woods and Camden. (they actually look like the only two places I could venture to with work and obligations). I was having a sucky day up until now..... woo hoo....

Phish will perform thirteen concerts this summer in two short legs - eight shows in June and another five in August. The June concerts kick off with a special two night run at Coney Island\'s Keyspan Park in Brooklyn, NY, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones minor league baseball club, and also include a long overdue return to SPAC in Saratoga, NY as well as two-nighters at old favorites Deer Creek and Alpine Valley. In August, the band returns to Great Woods for two shows and to the Tweeter Center in Camden NJ for one night.
From there, we are hard at work seeking necessary approvals to stage a festival in northern Vermont the weekend of August 14 & 15. The process is going well and we hope to announce definitive details before the end of the month. Stay tuned!
