nah, my parents weren\'t the type to tape any concerts, then again I don\'t even think they went to any concerts, heh, or football games for that matter. but there are a few others on this board who may have something, but I wont mention any name coughcoughdavecoughcoughjoecough ;)

If for whatever reason the NYE is going to be edited down to -60 mins, I\'d say get some more footage either another chopped up show  or a complete short set and put it all on one DVD that\'s like at least 2 hours in length. Definitly not any behind the scenes bullshit filler though, bands nowadays put out too much of that!
I\'d personally like to see things in their entirety but either way, a DVD that\'s longer than 45 minutes would be cool.

excelent. you are the MAN. i cant wait for this ****.

just curious, what do you mean by editing?
There were 5 cameras, so there are 5 separate video recordings. they need to be synced together and the shot transitions need to be put in place. then it will be one video with 5 different angles that it looks like a professional production like any pro shot concert video you would buy on dvd or see on television rather than having one still shot for the entire show.

SaaaWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!
just curious, what do you mean by editing? cleaning up the sound type of editing, or cutting out some of the footage type of editing?

OK I\'ve been trying to not post so much, I feel it has gotten out of control. However, here I must agree with Dave! Not to say what is on Bonafide isn\'t great, because it is... However, it was promoted as the best representation to date of a live PB show... and it doesn\'t even come close to that. Fade out on Eschers? Come on!
I\'d pay for pretty much any NYE footage they chose to release. Obviously would much rather have it whole. Is that what the question here is? I can\'t see how anyone wouldn\'t want it whole? But wouldn\'t pretty much everyone on here buy whatever they could, to support the guys and to check it out? What are we discussing again?

they already have a butchered live audio release. no need to continue that trend with a butchered dvd.
Someone who speaks the truth. :thumbsup

Yeah I would buy it to support the band (and as memorabilia), regardless of editing. Hopefully I would come upon the unedited version somehow *cough*CHRIS*cough*.
-
Anyone realize that ANY quality footage of this fairly new band would be great publicity. There is a # of DVD\'s put out w/ only highlights of a show or tour.

yes, most people would buy it because anything is better than nothing. so i guess the real question is would you mind spending more cash and have the full 3 1/2 hours of the show, or would you rather just have about 1 hour of it and have it be much less expensive?

Question 1) Yes
Question 2) Yes
My thoughts include but not limited to the following:
If The Breakfast were to release any decent video footage I would buy it. If The Breakfast were to release superior recordings of gigs I would buy them. If The Breakfast wants to see income coming in from non touring activities it behooves them to do either of the above.
