BTW....I dont mean literally frat boys....I have been into music since a mere kid and by frat boys I was merely talking about the kids that used to go to the dave matthews band shows in high school just to party underage. They claimed they Looooove dave, but if you gave them a cd with a band tighter and funkier they wouldnt like it cause its not Dave and thats all they know and wanna know.

I don\'t care how great the lineup and the experience is, I see all the bands that I wanna see during the course of the summer anyway. Plus, what 200 bucks for a ticket, another 100 for transportation, and I\'ll end up spending another few bills there anyway. I can deal w/o it.

The one festival I need to hit on a yearly basis is the moe.down, anything else is nice but unneccesary just the same.

Post by: daffodil on April 12, 2004, 06:11:45 pm: i dunno man, i remember the time in between when the first one was announced, but prior to the festival, everyone was saying it was gonna be a huge disaster, but it turned out beautiful. i think it\'s ridiculous to put down a festival\'s "scene" before it actually happens. i think you\'re being way judgemental. mind you, i\'m not going this year, cause it\'s too much of a haul for me right now, but not because i think it will suck.

but anyway, i digress...i think it would be a great opportunity for the breakfast if they played there, and i\'m still wondering why they\'re not on the bill.

So many bands but NO WAY to see them all,why waste the cash when every one of these bands will be by (your town here) in the near future if not already been by. Or save the $$$ u would have spent on Bonnaroo and hit the nxt Breakfast tour :)
I love fests and all but Bonnaroo never really appealed to me.
