Whatever! I just know that I did not like what I heard and yeah maybe I caught \'em on an off nite. From what I have read of their performance from fans of theirs though, that seems to NOT be the case. I guess I was seeing UM @ their best and for me it was not good enough to justify spending any $$ on. I def. believe they are MUY talented and do rock in their own way, it is just not for me. Too much composition and not enough song in them for me.

Strangers Helping Strangers has StrangeCreek tickets for sale fo $48 with NO Service Charges! Additionally $3 from every ticket sold through SHS goes toward our charity work. We will be at the Breakfast show on 5/8 at Tammany Hall in Worcester for a food drive. Bring some non-perishable food donations and buy your StrangeCreek tickets then. Save some money and help some people!!!

um is definitely a talented band. maybe you just caught them on an off night. don\'t write them off just yet!

i just got home from the cabin party w/ brother\'s past. it was amazing!! those guys are really good, very radioheadish. and also really nice people as well. the cabin was perfect. it\'d be great to have bp, the breakfast and another comparable band to play there.

I wish I could tell ya....I\'ve seen UM twice before and have at least 20 of their shows on disc and totally enjoy them...not so much this time. It seemed like they couldn\'t get it together. A few really good jams just flubbered into the mist. Maybe they were just as hazy as the rest. Hell, it\'s Vegas, baby!!

I have not given up on these guys, by far!! I just hope that they didn\'t change their style....that would BLOW. I\'m still waiting to see Jake and Tim jam together. That is one SICK duo!

Damn! i cant believe they were really that bad. i\'ve only heard good things about UM except from leith. what made the show so shitty? where\'s the love for UM on this forum? I\'m not a huge fan myself but what i\'ve heard (which is not much) seemed decent or better.

******I\'VE GOT THE SPOT FOR THIS \'BREAKFEST\'!******

tonight my friends are hosting THE BROTHER\'S PAST in a cabin the middle of nowhere (Andes, NY). my friends are looking to hold a mini 3-day festival there this summer and have expressed interest in having the breakfast join the bill. the cabin has plenty of room to camp out, and is pretty damn ideal.

by the way - check out my friend\'s band - THE WOUNDED BUFFALO THEORY - from brooklyn, NY!

The most amazing part is that nobody ever thought of that before.

Got to go, the stench of sarcasm in this post is overwhelming.

yeah but these guys are young ... look at fests like camp creek ... imagine 8-10 hours of the breakfast over a weekend plus all the bands they have been playing with lately ... addison groove project, umphreys, nero, perpetual groove, scc ...

kind i hope they get a good slot. i have that monday off so i am def. going to be partying all weekend!!

A Festival isn\'t the answer, there a dime a dozen.

Well they called it StrangeCreek last year and PB got the headlining spot on Friday night so I didn\'t think it was out of the question.

If PB / TB wants to throw a HUGE party in a festival like atmosphere in upstate NY on a beautiful piece of property surrounded by protected lands on a natural sloping ampitheather like hill with a brand new Stage I know the spot.

AJ you made me think about it. There is no Friday night this year is there ? I think I remember reading Sat, Sun UGH. The only reason I went last year was for PB. We left Saturday

Looks like the fest is a go for Memorial Day in Greenfield, MA again.

I hope that PB will be headlining 1 of the nights again. Their set last year SMOKED in spite of the rain.
