How \'bout during Score we all scream \'Go!\' or something of that effect right before he says \'Biscuit in a Basket!\'? That could be doable.
-
With one arm tied behind my back I\'ll take \'im out.

why dont you try not to force it and turn it into something gay...stuff like that just happens...it looses all integrity when a bunch of people sit around and think of stuff to do
No need to get angry just cause you were proved wrong;)

Thanks Joc...

What\'s up Gencarelli...apparently there aren\'t many "friends" at Phish shows during "Hood"
-
I was leaning toward "Uber-Heady Cosmic coincidence......
BUT, if you weren\'t aware...
"Friends don\'t let friends yell Hood"
-
What do you mean it makes it gay to sit around and talk about it.
How do you think the "HOOD!!!" got added to that song??? 20,000 people just randomly screamed HOOD at the same time in some kind of Uber-Heady Cosmic coincidence??
NO, it was a huge undertaking on the part of the early msg bds of Phish fans, they even passed out flyers in the lot the day of the show.

ready to spread his blissss....

As usual this thread has wandered from it\'s original intent.
I woo whoo during Sleeping Beauty as it just came to me one time. I also think that some of you forget that the audience participation that happens @ Phish originally started from the band and then we the fans took over and began making up our own stuff. This is a tradition that stems even from GD. Remember the whhoooo in Shakedown is all audience. I was just wondering if there was any of this happening w/ The Breakfast and other than the bouncing in Buquebus I guess not :(
So I will just say those that do not want to participate don\'t and those that do, the music will move ya @ some point and do not be afraid to woo whoo during Sleeping Beauty as i know i will be !
-
I am with Ric on this as well.....
Let the scene, music, whatever give birth to whatever....Forcing it makes us all look kinda weak....
But mooning the band during WPOAc would be pretty sweet... a la "Blue Moon" from the school dance in Grease

Yeah you know, I\'ve tried many a time in the abscence of Wolfy and Pec to get everyone bouncing during that part, always to no avail. What\'s with that? People just look at me funny and wonder who let me out of the looney bin. Seth/Dave- what\'s the trick?
"(How about some sort of line dance during Beef Barley? :disco: :disco: )"
Paul can teach us how to do this one. ;)
Unless it\'s country line dancing, in which case I\'ve got it under control. Yeah, I know how to line dane. ssshh!

DocEllis for President! And I just remembered, there is a dance to Language of the Gods! Nikki invented it, she tries to teach it to me but I suck at it. Lisa S can do it really well.

how bout during drum solos everyone in the audience takes of his or her shirt and maybe shoes and then just starts throwing them around the room or we all just peg the bar tender with clothing until it ends.

Mooboo\'s Voodoo: "ki ki ki, ma ma ma"
Taboo or Not Taboot: bouncing after the drum/bass section (you know what I mean)

Usually the crowd partakes of the last round of the Phaddy Boom Baddy chorus. In Amherst and New Haven, the band stops singing and lets the crowd do it on their own.
I disagree about the "woo whoo" in Sleeping Beauty, it completely trivializes the song. There\'s gotta be something better. (How about some sort of line dance during Beef Barley?) However, in the unfortunate circumstance that it does catch on, I will graciously admit defeat and not be a "SHH!"er. Those are the worst! I can see Leith now, going around coaching west coast people how to do the whoo whoo, then loving it when the tapes come back here and we all think it sucks. That actually would be hilarious.
I like the bouncing in Buquebus that\'s actually kinda natural.
We\'ll see about the wooo whoo it\'s just something I do and yes I will of course attempt what u described. Would u expect anything less?
I was just wondering in general though.

Isn\'t this chant part of the song? Same w/ Ahoy in Mayfly I would think.
I\'m thinking more along what I described and like a stash clap or hood in harry hood. U know audience thought up stuff. Come On u mean nobody has something they add to a Breakfast song after all this time?
What\'s up w/ that? I know there is some major creativity on this board so .......
Is it you all just don\'t wanta add to the "Breakfast / Phish " comparisons ?
I just like to do stuff like this \'cause it\'s fun to play along ya know?
-
well isn\'t there Ahoy! or during May Fly :)
-
buquebus - hey hey hey hey!
-
Is there any songs that the audience takes part in ?
I have been wondering, as everytime I hear Sleeping Beauty and the part comes up where the line beauty sleep (sung as beauty sleeeeeeeep) is repeated i think 4 times, I always sing woo whoooo after each time and it totally fits in.
I think it would be real neat to hear all of us doing that and the look on their faces when we do it would be CLASSIC!
For those of u that are tone deaf it still works.
