whoever "nicked" that gas line better be bonded and insured. Amazing the other homes didn\'t take more damage.

This looks like when my buddies plant in Mass blew up a few years ago.

I hope for the owners sake they are... The neighbors homes don\'t look bad, but they\'ve been forced out of their homes because the foundations are all FUBAR...

The kicker to the story is that it was the owners were selling and it just passed final inspection.  They had someone come in to remove an old non-working oil tank and they nicked the gas line and that\'s how it started...

That\'s a bad day coming home from work right there. Friday afternoon, feeling fine, got through the traffic, thinking about the weekend and then...

*also would love to hear a recording of the phone call to his insurance agency. "Well you see, uh, the **** house blew up. Yeah, everything in it too. Soooo, when can I expect my check?"

This happened earlier today, about 3/4 of a mile from my house and felt the explosion.  Supposedly no one was hurt, but the house was leveled.
