Second-place to Italia ain\'t too shabby... it\'s like being the runner-up for NBA MVP in the 1990s.

off the top of my head, the runners up were Olajuwon, Magic, Barkley, Robinson, Malone, Jordan and O\'Neal who all won w/in that decade.  the only odd men out were Clyde Drexler and Alonzo Mourning who were no slouches in their prime.

i actually went and checked every runner up from the 90\'s to make sure they were all good and pretty sure every one of them won the mvp another year in the 90\'s.  its a pretty elite decade.
Way to follow-up... you definitely would have had me, because I didn\'t bother to look into that all. I just figured, with MJ winning four (and Barkley stealing one from him in 93), there had to be some elite players as runners-up.

I see what you\'re going for. The Za here in Milan at
least kicks major ass over any I\'ve ever had.

If you haven\'t gone to Rome yet, you have to check out Gaudi\'s... The pizza is out of this world...  Here\'s a couple links...
