Anyone who is interested, I have one extra for this Fri and Sat at Irving.
While it killed me not to be at Breakfest, I can say I did not regret for one second being at the Gramercy this weekend. Both shows were stellar and exceeded my expectations 1000%. They sounded better than ever. This band is just one of those bands you just have to see.
Haven\'t listened yet, but here is Friday.

You should have heard the crowd singing that between encores! They still didn\'t play it, hoping to hear it this weekend!
-

^^^that one? as heady as wah may be, we have to deduct a massive amount of his headypoints for never hearing of GSW....:)

HAHA! They actually sound great on that song! Wow! Sounds like it could have been their own! That does it...I\'m listening to a ton of GSW for the next week. I\'m starting to feel it again!
I used the link to get to track 19. The mini-player needs a track counter.

Red - not so good.
Self-titled - Awesome.

First saw these guys in \'93, one of the best shows I\'ve ever seen. I still love $1.99 Romances, their next two records weren\'t as good to me, but the first three are great, and Good to the Last Drop.
-
driving west... great song
-
I still like 1.99 Romances...just as much as I like riding a pony to see the sunset....takes me back and Molly is still one of my favorite songs in life........
-
Definitely great nostalgia here. The early-mid 90\'s jam scene was an exciting time. It was like, "holy crap, you mean there\'s actually multiple jambands on tour at one time and not just the Dead? Whoa!" Around here, Phish/NRBQ/ARU/moe./GSW in the early 90s and and a little later on Jiggle The Handle/Miracle Orchestra/Percy Hill/Strangefolk (w/ Reid) were great times. I totally see the nostalgia value of the show and I would love to go if they came a little closer to me.
Most of the music still holds up for GSW, but not all. Particularly $1.99 Romances...I used to bump that a lot when it came out, now when I listen to it I\'m kinda like "Oh....not quite what I thought it was then." They were awesome at the time. If they came out today I think they would get lost in the crowd a bit. No reason not to go to the show though, it\'ll be fun!
