PRetty good show. It was effing LOUD in there though! I think Mike\'s bass tones rattled my soul tonight. I dont remember the whole set list but Andelman\'s yard, cities, things that make you go hmmm, sugar shack, makisupa policeman, voices, suskind hotel, jaded, traveled too far (i think), and a swamp music encore were in there.
-
think I have an extra for tonight, shoot me a pm if your interested.

Party Time!

Not sure if I want to watch a perv or be a perv this weekend.
reguardless of what you choose to do that weekend...you will be one of those choices.

Is anybody going to the Toad\'s show March 6th? Tickets go on sale tomorrow noon. Doubt they\'ll last long.
http://www.toadsplace.com/wp/shows/2776
Actually, there\'s a presale here: http://mikegordontickets.rlc.net
I picked up a pair.
I\'d be shocked if it sold out. Helps that\'s it\'s Saturday, but a Phish solo project has never sold out at Toads.
I\'m there plus 1, not sure who yet though...
Same here

its a bummer that he\'s skipping dc/ the state theatre this time around... he mentioned last time how much he likes playing there, then he goes and picks the crappiest venue in baltimore... weird. probably gonna have to miss him this time around, which will be the first solo-ish mike tour i\'ve missed yet...
-
Ellis got my guestlist...oh wait....sorry chipper
thank you for the laugh of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Great Wall of China and Mike Gordon\'s Purple Pants are the only two structures that can be seen from outer space. Naturally this is because Mike Gordon is an alien. Little know factoid from the asteroid. True story.

i mean i am sure i have...but i always too busy being a dancing fool
-
^^ he was too busy winking at me and looking down my shirt at that toads show!!!!! I also do not recall a nose blow in a towel....ewwwwwwwwwwwww
You\'ve never seen him do that? He does it on stage once in awhile, I\'ve caught it a couple times, not sayin its a regular thing. But for someone who doesn\'t move much on stage, anything out of his normal repertoire is sticks out.

On another note, anyone who plans on going- be there promptly. This is one of those pre-dance party shows, so he\'ll be off by 11.
Is this a regular thing for him to be outta Toads by 11 or just happen to be the way the schedule falls? I remember the last time he played there with Leo Kottke he was done early too. Either way should be a damn good show! I totally appreciate Mike and all his weirdness. The gig I caught at the Iron Horse, I\'d never seen him so enthusiastic, talkative and outgoing. Even when he played with Leo at that other gig, he was just the Mike we see at Phish usually... quiet & sullen with the non-stop head bobbing and a nose blow into a towel here and there.

**** yeah i gotta at least go to the one in lebanon
-
whoo hoo!
-
lock up your children!
Notice it\'s an all ages show. Meet and greet w/ photos afterward?

you know i thought it was at the iron horse but i second guessed myself when i saw pearl st on the schedule this time. thanks! hope ypu get to make it to at least one show!
Ya, probably should have been at pearl st. as the iron horse was packed that night, kind of cool seeing them in such a small place though. I hoping to get to the show too, booked a trip to mexico a couple weeks ago so I gotta pay that off first. I do have furthur and snow.down coming up, and will get PJ tickets if they announce any local shows, and should be at sullys this weekend so it\'s not that bad

These guys were really fun. I saw them at the Iron Horse that last go around he had with this lineup... June of 2008 I think. It was their first show together in public, used the place like a warmup gig and they all just seemed to cut loose and have a great time.
