yeah food for thought is one of my favorite songs and keep hinting to the boys to play it, like at backwoodspondfest and let it roll, and at sullys, and when i mentioned it to chris at the last NH show he said he doesn\'t think he\'s even played it, but I definitely saw it in burlington with him in the band, i dont remember the date,  maybe a fonghoulish freakout show?  either way i had to leave the show to get new pants.

11/30/07 was a very special food for thought, i hope to see it brought back but only for something equally if not more special.

Yoda, damn! where do you keep coming up with these lists. You have a little composition notebook with every event in breakfast history recorded?

Just a fan that enjoys the details...  I don\'t have the ability to create something like IHOZ, but I can pretty much come up w/ some details fairly quickly...

Food for Thought isn\'t really on the shelf. Just hasn\'t been much Food for Thought lately. I\'m sure we\'ll hear one when Tim\'s got something he feels like elaborating upon in a live musical setting.

Nah, it\'s on the shelf (last time played - 11/30/07)...

plus, they need to take OVER EXPOSURE off the shelf before anything else

Why don\'t we petition for new songs?

This band, this board, this fan base is idle and becoming stale.

If you can\'t see the writing on the wall, then you are blind.

Not saying anything negative about the band or anything along those lines but without change you fade away.

This is already happening, at least I see it.

Hmmm, seems to me that a couple new songs were recently debuted. Yes, lets petition then. I think everyone wants to hear new tunes, but calling out for old ones is a testament to the greatness of their material. I think requesting these tunes is the best way to get them to play them again.

Maybe I am a blind starry eyed newb but I am a relatively new fan that will go long distances to see the boys jam. I listen pretty much daily. I can\'t be the only one out there. I bet every show brings in someone new. Recordings are more important than ever. There are fans down south and out west that rely on these things to hear these epic jams. Everyone can go to the LMA and hear what went down. Things have changed with touring patterns and such but there is still a commitment there and I think the shows have been anything but stale. Again, I haven\'t been here as long as others and haven\'t been through all of the battles and trenches and adversities that this band has faced over their 11-year career. But there is something very viable here. They wouldn\'t still be playing if there wasn\'t anything there.

I don\'t have any real answers but I have faith. I\'m not saying that you do not have any or are any more or less of a fan. I respect your opinion very much. Your post stirred up something inside of me.

I agree with frolfer. They have been debuting a few new songs and i am sure they are working on more. suggestion to play old songs are just that, suggestions. If the band wants to take time out of practicing to bring back and old tune, i am sure it would be worth it. And if they are putting out new material i don\'t see how they could have any intentions of slowing down.

I am def still a n00b, but i have been to enough shows in the past and recently to know they are so far from being "stale" right now. They may not be playing a ton of shows but the ones they do play are more diverse and jammed harder then ever. Maybe i am "blind" but i still go to any show i can and bring as many TB virgins as possible, and i am not going to stop.

Here\'s the breakdown of songs.  I\'m not commenting either way, just wanted to put into place which make up of the band that songs were created in...

Psychedelic Breakfast (Tim, Ron, Adrian & Jordan)
LDZ, Garcian FishbowlNo Glove No Love, Funky Bill\'s Circus Clich?, Episode 1 (Happy), Puppetry, Superfly Phaddy Fat, The Vermont Song, Gladys Pimp And Kangaroos With Me, Grand Scheme Of Things, Heather, Uncle Freddy, Funk-A, Frankly Po Zest, Drunk Monk Bar, Attraction To Shade Ditty, See The Light, Cut Me Some Slack, Language Of The Gods, Prom \'97, Love Lake, Phaddy Boom Baddy, Gypsy Girl, What The Funk, Mooboo\'s Voodoo, Beef Barley, Lit, Bugs, Son Of Simpleton, Tribal Funk Affliction, Buquebus, Question Mark And The Mind, Taboo Or Not Taboot, May Fly Disarray, Wake Up In A Coma, Rufus, Sundance, Fairy, The Chase, Kote, Hard Luck Harry, Merge (inc: Slow Merge), Spunk, Food For Thought, The Late And The Great, Score, Escher\'s Etchings (Parts 1 & 2), Dig, Great Big Fiery Ball In The Sky, Wild Pack Of Asscracks, Beer Jubilee, Cosmic Spaceway Rhyme, Sleeping Beauty, Vera Street, Dimension 5, Inner Glimpse, Za, Doughboy

The Breakfast (Tim, Ron, Adrian & Jordan)
No Regret, Fresh Cut, Good Things, Psygn, Episode 3 (Awakening), Honey Butter, Surreal Radio, Over Exposure, Intension, Future Peek, Tricky Ways, Gravity, Rust

The Breakfast - Trio (Tim, Ron & Adrian)
A New Beginning, Tunage, Escher\'s Etchings (Parts 3 & 4)

The Breakfast (Tim, Adrian, Chris & Matt)
The World Needs Us, The Message, Infrequently Asked Questions, Living Daylights, The Sound, Synergy, Rush, Reel Time, Metropolis

The Breakfast (Tim, Adrian, Chris & Jordan)
Existential Funk, Shotgun Butterfly, Escher\'s Etchings (Part 5) - I\'m not sure if this is a TB or Adrian solo song
