No coincidence brah. Peep the segueless setlist Albany nights 1+2. The lyrics unfold the story of mine and Ashley\'s life. Little Suzy Greenberg with her head caved in ;)
Trey looked at me 3 times during the shows, the last time was at the end of the 2 nights 2 set, before YEM. He looked right up, made direct eye contact with me and smiled. Many witnesses to this event.
Also, on the way out of the show, me and Ashley walked up the streets hoping to find a cab. It was getting cold and Ashley was worrying that we weren\'t going to find one. I told her to stop worrying, and that a cab would be here in a minute. She did stop worrying for a minute and one minute later a cab pulled over for us.
Guess who was in the cab... our friends who were staying with us on the other side of town. "Where are you going?" .. "Same place they\'re going, I believe" :lol:
miracles are happening everywhere.

So here\'s a funny story or an amazing coincidence... I have "a" Mike Gordon friend on facebook that others on the board are as well. After night 1 of Albany, at about 12 am I thought just for haha\'s I would private message the following text to him after I had proposed to Liz by using the words "Will you come Waste you time with me... please". Call it cheesy if you will, but it worked!

I know this is totally random and you guys dont take requests any more but.... :o) I proposed to my girlfriend of 6 years last night after the Albany show. You guys have been a part of my life for the past 15 years and a part of ours for as long as we\'ve been together. Waste has always been our song. If there is any chance in anything that is above and beyond this world, could you play it tomorrow night? I know you might not get this in time, but I had to try. Thanks for all the fun times and the memories you\'ve given us both!

I never received a response, and it didn\'t happen for night 2, but then they play it as a 3rd encore in Portland??? Did the real Mike receive my message at all, and just get it too late, or misunderstand that the message was after nite 1? Did they play this as a nod to my message??? One could always wish that it was... unfortunately I wasn\'t there but it would have been the perfect end to an amazing weekend if we were there... Or it could be the greatest coincidence ever??? I would like to think it was the real Mike and that it was a result of a silly request. I just wish I was there to witness it with her...
