It all depends on the fetch times for the advertisements. They\'re on different servers with probably a lot higher load.
There are ways to block ads (easy as **** actually) but I don\'t want to endorse or tell you how since Dave needs ads here for the $.

sometimes its fine but it gets slow a lot like for example when i use the scroll pad on my macbook and try to scroll up or down, it takes a few seconds to register and then the screen will move. not ahuge deal but def annoying at times

Can u guys be more specific. I am currently local to the server. It is in my data center. I haven\'t been on dot info all day but I haven\'t noticed any performance issues recently

its been really slow for me lately

let\'s run benchmarks on the server / page load times
Post your computer specs, Internet connection, browser, and get a plugin to measure page load times.
Just kidding. Server\'s fine. Anyone getting it slow is due to their local/regional pipeline.

Seems normal. Try resetting the IP on your cable / DSL modem. Unplug it from power, then unplug it from the coaxial cable (if you have cable internet), wait like 45 seconds, then screw the coaxial back in and plug the modem back in.
The modem is the guy that goes between the cable box and your router in case you\'re wondering which I\'m talking about.
For DSL I\'m not exactly sure but unplug power, disconnect from DSL line, and plug back in after a while may do the same thing.
Modem IPs that become stale too long are prone to all kinds of automatic throttling by ISPs.
Give it a shot anyway. But that\'s only if your whole internet is slow. This site was slow for like an hour last night but it\'s fine now.
