I know the band pays particular attention to the set orchestration, but seriously, I don\'t mind what order they play songs in. However, it\'s probably a wise idea to keep up a "formula" and use the soundscape as a vessel to attract a fanbase. I like Jam> Buquebus, Jam> Mayfly, Jam> Rufus, Jam> See The Light, Jam> Inner Glimpse, Jam> Score

I stick by "Jam >"

But after that, Buquebus, Drunk Monk Bar, inverted TFA, See The Light, Question Mark and the Mind, Eppy 1....

2nd to "Jam >" best set opener is Memory of a Free Festival. You know it\'s gonna be a hell of a show if they start it out with that.

cant remember what show it happened in, maybe an iron horse, but the sound to me is the perfect way to open a show.  Coma comes in a close second, and Rufus third.

I chose Wake Up in a Coma for set closer with a Franky Po Sandwich. Pretty good one for an opener too though.

But for the real win the obvious best set opener = "Jam >"
Peep Daniel Street 2007-09 something, the one with the insane Space GFBITS guitar solo that god himself planted into the brain of Tim Palmieri. The jam that started that show is what I\'m talkin about.

jam between Rufus and Mayfly seemed more like a jam then a straight up segue to me and that **** was downright Satanic.

God and Satan, yes. I don\'t mean Satanic in a creepy religious or bad way. Satanic like finding a suitcase full of $500,000 with a name and address in it and keeping the money. Actually pretty fuckin awesome cuz whoever\'s packin that much cash in a suitcase is probably up to some way more Satanic ****.

Yes I capitalize God and Satan. Out of respect, yo.

My fave set opener would have to be:

then it could go,

2. See the Light
3. Gravity
4. CMSS(last Java Barn show, oh man!)
5. WTF
6. Escher\'s 1(Westcott was so freaking good!)

you get the drill:

1. Tribal Funk Affliction
2. Tribal Funk Affliction
3. Tribal Funk Affliction
4. Tribal Funk Affliction
5. Tribal Funk Affliction

its also good as the 3rd song of the first set.
