Soundcheck: The Chase (partial)

Set I: Intro > Vermont Song, Escher\'s Etchings I > Escher\'s Etchings II > Existential Funk, Escher\'s Etchings IV, jam > Tribal Funk Affliction > Garcian Fishbowl > Sundance > Garcian Fishbowl > Tribal Funk Affliction, Rush

E: Peaches En Regalia > Synergy

99.9% sure on songlist... might have missed something between tribal and garcian... not sure about segues/transitions. Corrections are welcome!

I believe it is true, and I think Robyn has been doing this for a little while although I\'m not sure how many of us know about it.

I have to talk to her tonight but I may start collecting and seeing who\'s into helping out at some shows for SHS or Robyn\'s food drive. I\'m not sure how integrated they are but this is just what Doug from SHS told me.

peace

Well, about a week ago, Todd and I had a conversation that went something like this:

Me:  You know, I really think we should do a Turkey Tour Food Drive this year...
Todd:  It\'s a little too late, and most of the shows won\'t be around here.
Me: Yeah, but it\'s the season of giving, and many food pantries are trying to raise donations and collecting food for the holiday.  So why don\'t we host one?
Todd:  Well, The closest show will be in Utica, or we can do one on NYE at Daniel Street.
Me: (totally forgetting about the Sully\'s show in a week)Nah, no one thinks about helping people on one of the biggest party nights of the year.  Never mind.

That being said, please bring some canned goods & non-perishables to Sully\'s tonight! thanks tuna! ;)

However, once this initial anger wears off, I am going to recalculate my options.

Well, we hope so. Things may be looking up for you, starting tonight.[/QUOTE]

You are right. I like that. Might be enough to get me through this dismal afternoon.

At this rate, my Friday and Saturday Albany tickets might be up for sale.

This has not been my week at all and I am not in the mood for anything right now. I was a miserable prick on Monday night at Kung Fu. I\'m sure tonight will be 3x worse.

However, once this initial anger wears off, I am going to recalculate my options.

I\'m pretty much ready to **** kill someone after these last 3 days.

za is THICK n\' tasty, it\'s no thin crust New Haven pie but it\'s good to fill ya up (1 or 2 slices)... especially after one or two drinks, and it\'s usually available late into the night.  I think the bar on the opposite corner has good food, though I haven\'t been in a bit.

of course I\'ve never tried it sober...

"I\'d warm up some acorns and leaf salad." - and i thought burlington pizza was bad...

what, juniors ain\'t good enough for you?

not when i grew up on new jersey pizza!  it\'s really just a different style in NJ/NY, thinner and tangier (more cheddar vs mozzarella?) in my opinion.  Plus, I\'ve gotten slices in VT small enough to be a pizza bite; a proper tristate area slice is the size of the paper plate, and cheap too!

VT slice:

I went to a pizzeria, I ordered a slice of pizza, the fucker gave me the smallest slice possible. If the pizza was a pie chart for what people would do if they found a million dollars, the fucker gave me the "donate it to charity" slice. I would like to exchange this for the "keep it!"

I for one am pretty psyched they landed this gig on this night! Last year I spent it at BAR w/ TT and while it was a great night... it quickly became entirely too packed with people tryin to fill up the club room.  It was actually pretty funny to watch all the girls inline freezing there asses off just waiting to get in the door.  Most other years, its been tryin to cram into a local watering-hole where there are too many people you don\'t neccessarily want to see anyways. See you all soon!
