New Haven (WTNH) - An institution of New Haven\'s music scene will be shutting its doors next week.

The New Haven Independent reports Toad\'s Place is paying a fine and will close for a few days, from August 3 to 5, as the result of some complaints.

The club reportedly offered some unauthorized live entertainment one night and illegally served alcohol to a 20-year-old another night.

Both of those incidents happened last year.

Two years ago, the state shut down Toad\'s for three months over liquor violations.
