Mmm yeah. Only knew a couple of the kids who got arrested... poor guy and his girl have had an opiate problem for years so no doubt they were doing whatever necessary to support their way of life. Heard the cops faceplanted em on the ground right in front of the Calvin... . ooof.
Surprising in 49 arrests that\'s all the drugs and cash they got.
Highlights of the weekend for me included chillin with Kyle and Nick ... listening to Adrian\'s new album for the 1st time Saturday morning (A++++!!!) ... and replenishing my stash of headies ... umm, not getting arrested or evicted are always bonuses as well
Now if the few remaining gypsies and wooks sleeping on my floor will kindly move to their next destination.... lol

49 arrested during police sweeps in Northampton\'s downtown Friday and Saturday nights By George W. Graham October 12, 2009, 8:35AM NORTHAMPTON ? A drug and alcohol sweep by police Friday and Saturday nights yielded the arrests of nearly 50 people.
Police, over the two nights of the sweep, confiscated more than 600 ?hits? of LSD, 45 grams of ****, two nitrous oxide tanks and more than $2,000 in cash, according to a release.
Friday night brought 24 arrests and Saturday night, 25, police said. Officers in uniforms and plain clothes participated in the sweep.
Those arrested Friday night will be arraigned in District Court on Tuesday. Those arrested Saturday night will be arraigned Thursday, police said.

No doubt winter 2008 was straight fire but I sorta think Sully\'s 2009-08-01 was in the top handful I ever saw... and Strange Creek 09 might have been the most twisted coil I ever witnessed the band lay out...
Just sayin we should know by now whenever you think Breakfast might be in a slump for like a week or whatever there\'s a damn good chance the next show will be the best you thought you ever saw ;)

nah I am ser. they were hot when jordan first came back. but none of the shows this year have blown my mind. they have been good but not epic. the band has definitely lost something not practicing and not doing extended tours. 2008 bfast destroys 2009 musically. you can sit here and argue it all you want but listen to the tapes, show for show. Overall this year has been a wanky loss of momentum, not an improvement. maybe it is just the shows I have seen and the few I have downloaded but I have not seen/heard one show in 2009 that tops the best **** from last year or even touches it.

Well thankyou for giving it a listen to hear my point believe me I wish I was wrong but I think I may have discovered the biscuits inspiration for konkrete. I know what chris gaines sounds like because it was easily the hugest moment in the music world when Garth Brooks broke out of his country shell let his fake hair down and sang a pop rock song. It changed my life.

From what I\'ve been hearing the second night of the 9:30 Club show in Washington, DC was the best so far (10/3/09), but the SBD might not be out yet (give it a couple days). As far as what is available now, the Knoxville show (9/26/09) is getting some hype. I had a chance to listen to some yesterday and the Caterpillar segment is really good. Second set looks tastey too.

If I\'m not diggin what I feel the crowd and vibe will be, I\'ll make sure you guys meet up Wednesday or Thursday night (whereever they\'re playing, he\'s gonna be there) and get connected.
However I\'m gonna see what I can do to lay down some pretty basic but essential ground rules. You guys who know me know what I mean.... party on.... but let\'s not be **** retarded about it to the extent neighbors get pissed or cops get called or it turns into a week long party with flat breezy kids hanging around until I flip out halfway through next week... or some **** that is likely to happen in all reality...

Anyone who is going to Calvin and wants to save $ on hotel room and chill , let me know. U guys are welcome that weekend as long as we can keep it low key (as in, use indoor voices late at night, try not to stumble around or otherwise do things that would wake up / **** off neighbors / get cops called.
We will have quite a few people over and it will be a great time. But I know Bisco afterparties can get rowdy as ****. We can be rowdy.... as long as its at low decimal levels ;)

Actually with 10/2 and 10/3 being on a Friday/Saturday in DC, I could be persuaded to take a trip down and stay with the married couple down there.
yes 10/8 is a thursday, but i don\'t think i\'d have to take a day off to hang out in bisco lot. i would like to take the next day (friday) off. we should def see about DC. and if i\'m not mistaken, we know some folks in knoxville as well (9/26...saturday w/ infected mushroom live band)...prolly not gonna happen, but still
