DMT is dimethyltryptamine, a tryptamine.
As are MDMA, LSD, ibogaine, seratonin, melatonin, and psil0cybin
LSD is both an acid and a tryptamine, DMT is a tryptamine but not an acid, as it has no readily oxidizable functional group
I just pictured wah in some glasses and a white lab coat talking like Ben Stein in front of a chalk board.

Peyote is far from the only cactus with mescaline in it. It just happens to be the slowest growing and illegal. I\'m pretty sure I\'ve seen San Pedro for sale at random garden centers before. Like 10 years ago or something like that my buddy at the time spotted in someone\'s yard and stole it.
I guess that\'s illegal (and also immoral) but we didn\'t care at the time. A couple of my friends chowed down on that **** like a spikey bitter cucumber. But what worked best (and this was a long time ago, but if my memory serves... it worked REAL fuckin good) was cooking it down into a tea.
I\'m pretty sure doing anything with this cactus with the intent of tripping off its mescaline content is illegal, but growing them obviously isn\'t and I\'m pretty sure the things grow practically like a weed in warmer and sunnier climates.
I\'m sure you know how to use google though ;)
It was a beautiful experience but not something I\'ve had any desire or urge to repeat. Life\'s just about all the trip I can handle these days.

If I could find them mescalin was always fun to have around.
amen!! back in the early 90s i used to have so much around so often that i never thought i\'d be without. probably shuold have set some aside at some point to ensure that, but alas, haven\'t seen any in forever...

MDMA is a phenethylamine ... aka complex amphetamine. More closely related to mescaline or methamphetamine than any of the substances you mentioned.
LSD has both tryptamine and phenethylamine structures contained in it, but would be more accurate to describe as an ergoline as it\'s a bit more complex than either and originally derived from ergot.

Anyway I stick to smokin crack and heroin in the same pipe these days. So much better for body and soul than evil society destroying drugs like "acid". I feel like a million bucks 24/7

If they\'re still having difficulty telling DMT from LSD I\'d volunteer to eat some of this "mystery acid" material. Since it\'s DMT obviously I won\'t feel any effects of it...
And nope tyzack 5meoDMT isn\'t the same as regular DMT. From what I hear the 5meoDMT is way **** and sounds like some scary ass ****.
DMT, on the other hand, on the one or two occasions some patchwork hippie insisted I try some and I was in a "sure, why not?" mood, I found to be a beautiful and healing experience. I remember feeling great for like the whole day after it quickly wore off. IMO it\'s one of at least a hand full of illegal drugs that should clearly not be as there is no addiction, it doesn\'t destroy lives, and isn\'t even physically dangerous.

Police got a tip about a month ago that a methamphetamine lab was at the house, but further investigation led police to believe that it was actually an acid lab.
When police raided the house today they found a significant amount of acid, or DMT, in the basement as well as packaging materials.
...I don\'t know much about chemistry but from my experience with the two, they are noticably different, at least at the consumer level. So the cops should know what they are talking about.

Is 5meo-DMT the same thing as DMT?

Don\'t get yer patchwork panties in a bunch, there is actually very little wrong with the article.
1. They got a tip it was meth
2. After investigating they "believe" it was "acid" (the use of slang is a little low rent)
3. Post raid they\'re still not sure whether its dmt or lsd (They probably could have used one more statement about waiting on lab results).

What a horribly written article, full of misinformation. DMT is not acid or meth. It is a hallucinogenic alkaloid extracted from plants. Ayahuasca, a DMT containing brew, has been safely used for hundreds of years as a religious sacrament. If it were legal, kitchen chemists wouldn\'t be cooking it in their trailers. . .

The house right next door to the Annex Club was an acid lab. This is my neighborhood and there were more cops and tv crews than I\'ve ever seen there today. If you watch the video the back smoking area of the club is just off screen to your right.
