she doesn\'t know if they can get another one free from them, it sounds like the same a tyzacks that they bought it, and now it broke so they\'re sol until they get another one. Figured I\'d help look for a cheaper price before she calls the company and they hit her with something crazy.

most (or all) cable internet providers will provide you with a cable modem...otherwise they can\'t sell their service

I have an old cable modem...i don\'t know if it works. I got it from Cox, but apparently i "bought" it so they didn\'t want it back when i moved.

anyone know any good current deals on cable modems? One of my friends needs a new one.
