I recall this show quite well.

I know Dave was there taping, I was taping. It was late night tent. I was drunk as hell. Freddie and Josh were there (thanks again ;) LOL ). I don\'t recall other tapers as real estate was hard to come by.

I don\'t think Terrapin would release these shows. They have soooo much unreleased stuff that just sits never to see the light of day. If Ken Hays was going to release Gathering Of The Vibes performances it would definitely have the terrapin logo on it and they would be getting a piece of the pie. They have pro shot video from all the years that has never been released etc.

For some reason this reminds me of how when the band first toured the west coast in 2002, Amoeba Music on Haight Street in San Fran had copies of Deuce in the $3 bin yet we were selling them at the merch table for $12.  It was just so weird.

I saw this on iTunes a little while ago but it wouldn\'t let me access it. Very strange. There is a nice aud copy over at the archive as well. Just dug up my disc and its nice! Check it:

I agree with Paul, it sounds **** shady to me.  Echidna\'s Are [?] (Of You) and Buquegus [?].  How could someone buy this unauthorized **** with those horrible spelling mistakes? :sigh:  I\'m out, especially if the bands not getting a piece of it.

i guess at least now **** who search amazon.com will have a chance of finding some good music. but really coming from a kid who knows a lot about being sketchy, this **** doesn\'t sound like it was done legally. Anyone seeing profits from it yet? Commission checks?

all of gathering of the vibes 2004 is up there. ive never seen this listen on amazon because its listed under the band name "The Breakfast (f/k/a Psychedelic Breakfast)"

something tells me that if you go back and re-read the fine print on the contract for that show, they reserved the right to tape and release audio from it for all the bands that played there.

either that, or some taper found a way to make money on their old ****.

Sounds shady either way.
