This band has more moves than you can shake a stick at.

WOAH!  WOAH!   HOLD ON!!

i shake a mean stick...  i challenge the band to a moves vs. stick shaking death-cage-match.  Loser has to buy white castle for everyone afterwards.  Sweet.  I love white castle...

What\'s this thread about again?

Anyone have info about video recording for shows?  I imagine one could just use a standard video camera and sync up audio from a separate source, right?  Or do some cameras handle high decibel levels without distortion?

its not worth it to even try to get good audio on a camcorder. the band is way too loud and its easy to sync the audio from a separate source

I love relistening to breakfast shows over and over again; every time I pick up something I missed the first time around.  This band has more moves than you can shake a stick at.

I could have my facts wrong about the class size... But I know his girlfriends family owned a chain of gas stations in the area... Free State was great, but it was always a dirty trick when he brought me towards Tornado Alley...

I know hutch a little... My brother went to KU and dated a girl who\'s father owned the only gas station/convenience store in hutch.  His roomate was also from hutch and he was like one of 16 in his graduating class in HS... I do miss Free State Beer and The Yellow Submarine a lot...

Hmmm. Don\'t think you have the right town.  The population is something like 60,000.  Lot\'s of convenience stores.  My graduating class was 350.  I do like Free State in Lawrence.  There are lots of little communities and Amish towns are here though.

Hey Tony, have they added a second gas station in hutch yet?

Ha! Ha!!  It\'s not THAT backwoods where I\'m at.  If I was to drive down the dirt road about 15 miles, now that\'s a different story!!  There are actually a couple of things to do here.  http://www.hutchchamber.com/visithutch/index.php

Maybe I could book the Breakfast for the next big holiday!!

yes. many thanks.

I sent three newbs to the show on Saturday.  They all called me on Sunday and couldn\'t believe that they hadn\'t listened to me before and saw them sooner.  They were bumbed to hear that the show was not taped and they won\'t be able to hear it again.  I more so, that I don\'t get to hear it at all!!

I think all Breakfast shows not to be missed!! (Yes, I am a fluffer!)  I\'ve said it before, I could care less what they are playing, just as long as they are playing.  I\'m happy to be there and I thank them for being around.  Taping is the way to get the word out to others, we all know.

Dave, Matt, Paul, Rob, Ken, Chirs, and the rest of you I VERY much appreciate what you do.  You\'re time, money and effort that you put into it.  It\'s not something that you have to do.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!  I had forgotten was it\'s like to live in the midwest!  Especially where I\'m at.  I might be able to catch a live show at the coffee house on Thursday night, but that\'s about it unless I want to drive four hours!!  These tapes are all that I have right now until I return!! (Not to be selfish!!) Dave, stay healthy!!  The rest of you, I will buy you a bus/train ticket to get to the next show!!

How would you get the recorded music off of your iPod?  Would you have to use a program like SENUTI?

I, for one, would not be on this board were it not for the sterling work of dave, matt, chris, mike et al, so what better chance to say thanks again.

FWIW, if the band do decide to tour and come to the UK (well, a man can dream!) I now have an Edirol hr-09 and will hopefully soon also get some mics. I believe US prices work out a lot cheaper than here fro kit like this, but it\'s taken me along time to justify buying it. So further props to the guys\' partners/wives for allowing them to indulge in feeding our breakfast addiction.

The breakfast has a policy where if you record and upload a show to archive or send the show to the archive crew, the band will put 1 taper on the guest list.  PM davepeck a week before the show for more info and exceptions.  I am all for multiple sources.  No matter how prepared you are, stuff happens.   A two taper guest list would increase the odds of the show being available and no tapers will guarantee a lost show forever.

Since the band has decided to stop touring it is so important to have each and every show taped. Missing a show here and there in the past was really no big deal because there was always another show around the corner. Well that is no longer the case with so few shows and them being so spread out.

Recordings of recent shows keep the fire fresh in new fans that can only experience the band this way.

It really sucks to see threads on other boards where people get excited about the band due to a recent show they BT\'d (this line-up is really clicking with non-.info\'ers) but that is soon tempered with the realization they will probably not get to see them in the near future if at all.

The Breakfast taping community is pretty much 2-4 people. In the next couple months it would behoove all of us to help those 2-4 people out in anyway possible to ensure shows are taped.

Thanks for your time.
