u guys can see the vortex of the earth all over again.....haha

It\'s the Z Axis, and I look at the pic I have of Me, Ellis, Mandler, and Dobz on the axis everyday.  Once I get a decent frame it will be up on the Mt Road Wall of Fame.

LBI would be great for all of those families with young kids on vacation...

I know it\'s a cheesy guido joint, but if they could get into the Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant, they\'d definitely have a good number of heads checking them out...

I\'m still hope for a North Jersey show...

I\'m a NJ native; lots of nice places in this state, people just focus on the bad spots.  A LBI show (Jersey Shore) would be incredible.  I know of a few spots and could work on something for this summer if the band is interested....

Well, while we\'re waiting patiently for The Breakfast to come back to NJ, we can visit some of these local historic site: The Indian King Tavern, Edison National Historic Site, Ellis Island National Monument (and yes, the Statue of Liberty is in NJ waters), Emilio Carranza Crash Site and Monument, Grover Cleveland\'s Birthplace, Long Pond Ironworks State Park, Ringwood Manor, Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Morristown National Historic Park, Ford Mansion, Fort Nonsense, Jockey Hollow, New Bridge Landing, Old Dutch Parsonage, Princeton Battlefield, St. Michael\'s Church and Churchyard, the USS New Jersey, Wallace House, Walt Whitman\'s Tomb and House, Washington Crossing State Park, Pomonah Hall, The Liberty Science Center, The Montclair Art Museum, The Newark Museum or any of the Jersey Shore beaches....

My elementary school took us there on a field trip every year and I never understood what I was supposed to be learning.  It\'s a big old house. End of story.

At 10 years old I was far more interested in Jungle Habitat, the abandoned Safari Theme Park a few miles from my house.  All the adults denied it even existed, but there was acres upon acres of old cages, tunnels and few remaining animal bones from when irresponible ownership (Warner Bros.) left them to die.

I can\'t believe I found a site on this- I used to tell people about it and they\'d look at me like I was making it up!

Asbury Park is getting better.

Shouldn\'t worry though, I don\'t think UConn has been played at.

I\'m sure there are reasons...

Never, they never really hit the big college tows like New Brunswick, Princeton, Wayne, Ramapo....

They played the following locals:
Asbury Park - 6 times
Teaneck - 5 times
Trenton - 4 times
Belmar - 2 times
Kearny - 2 times
Stanhope - 2 times
Manchester - 1 time
Garwood - 1 time

There\'s a lot of uncharted territory in NJ and in the surrounding regions...

Spent a year at Rutger\'s writing my senior thesis on The Stelton Modern School and the communities attempt at a Utopian society.

That was enough Jersey sightseeing to last me 5-10 years.

Maybe I\'ll visit all the historic sights when the Breakfast return.

I\'m still trying to figure out how New Jersey ended up as part of these United States.

The Breakfast said once all you New Jersians stop your whining, they will come back and play but until then they will sit back and watch.

Well, NJ was inhabited by Native Americans and became part of New Netherland when the Dutch settled.  The brits stole the land and renamed it the Province of New Jersey.  NJ joined as one of the 13 original colonies to break away from the brits.  During the revolutionary war, several decisive battles were fought on our land: Crossing of the Delaware, Battle of Trenton, 2nd Battle of Trenton, Surprise Attack @ Princeton, Battle of Monmouth.  During this time Princeton, NJ was the nation\'s capital for 4 months; the Treaty of Paris (that ended the war) was signed in Princeton.  NJ was the 3rd state to ratify the consitution and the 1st to ratify the bill of rights.  I hope that straightens things out a bit.

In all honestly does everyone (including the band) really dislike NJ that much?  I guess that might be the reason NJ doesn\'t get that much love.  Since the beginning of time, we\'ve averaged 3 shows a year with a max of 4 times in \'02 and \'08 and only 1 show in \'06.  I can\'t talk for all of those shows, but the last two that I\'ve seen at Donnegals had a pretty good turnout for a small pub.  Maybe if we got as much love as say Upstate, you\'d see more bodies going to the NJ, NYC and PA shows...

Tour down South!

Anywhere in NJ is probably no more than a 4 hour drive to a CT show.  I think 2004 was the last time they came within 5 hours of where I as living.

Anyway I think leith had a good point.  As long as they are still playing shows, that is a good thing.  People need to sacrafice and make a short drive.

Sorry to step on your thread Colin!  There\'s a couple places I\'d like to see The Breakfast play as well!!

The Pickle Barrell, Ludlow, VT (Please, please!!)
http://www.picklebarrelnightclub.com/

Three Peaks Inn, Bondville, VT (They have a disco ball!!)
MySpace- http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=424015559

And the Electric Company is always nice!

Not to step on yer ****, but the Pickle Barrel is in Killington...one of my fav old stomping grounds. And the Inn in Bondville, I believe might be the location of one of the serrest doozies I\'ve ever witnessed...complete with Adrian solo...on pork bone.
