I think Dr. Pepper owes us all a Dr. Pepper.

the last version that I heard had all the drums sampled. I personally can\'t stand that sound, but I\'ll be interested to hear what the finished product sounds like.

How accurate are the leaked copies? I\'m sure there are some real ones by now, but I wouldn\'t be shocked if the leaked album that I heard five or six years ago differs greatly from the final release.
No expections = can\'t be let down... thus, I can\'t wait to hear it.

I listened to one of the leaked songs the other day. It really sucked big time. Didn\'t even make it through the whole song. Awful.

over a decade in the making isn\'t it?
First new material since 1991. There are kids in college now who do not remeber this band as relevant.

It\'s not GNR without Slash IMHO.
This album has been "leaked" all over the internets for some time now. I keep seeing where I could download it, but have refused to do so. There\'s a part of me that wants to hear it, but then there\'s a part of me that is going with all the hype from critics that says it isn\'t great. I read a review from Bret Michaels saying that it is good, but how is he a reliable source?
You\'re spot on saying it isn\'t GnR without Slash. I guess Axl figures the only way people will even consider buying it would be with the GnR name on it. No one would buy an Axl Rose self titled album. It really should be that way though because it\'s not going to be the GnR sound. Reviews say it is more of the Trent Reznor NIN industrial sound. Oh boy.
I guess we\'ll see though in one way or another right?

A release date has finally been set for the long awaited GNR album. I personally don\'t have much faith in this but we\'ll see. I hear the title track on the radio today and wasn\'t terribly impressed. It\'s not GNR without Slash IMHO.
