ZOLOFT would\'ve been a CHOICE response here.

Because I, too, say WEEN to CJ.

also, if you\'re lookin to drop some panties Karl Denson\'s Tiny Universe - The Bridge is where it\'s at.

My favorite live bands:

The Breakfast
Karl D (this includes Greyboy Allstars and other projects)
Groundation (if you like reggae, me na in de toolya cansay Jah mafana sellasie I kiiid.. **** will floor you)
Garaj Mahal
John Brown\'s Body (more reggae)

and Ween of course.

Have any of you seen EOTO?  They will be in the area tomorrow night and I was wondering if they are worth $20 (it\'s a small venue and the price is likely inflated due to the SCI connection).  The music on their Myspace page is solid so I was wondering if it is representative of an average show or is a greatest hits of live material.

Old Skool Incubus

Science baby! I remember when Brandon had the long ass dreads down to his ass.. They were unknowns when they I saw them on this weird ass bill in which 311 headlined and Incubus opening the show and Sugar Ray going on after Incubus. This was at the Gym at Western Connecticut State in Danbury..

I don\'t mind the music so much, but it the constant up-strumming that makes me want to swallow about 500 sleeping pills and jump off the Orca with cinder blocks tied around my feet.

Just take the same songs and strum downward... It\'s basically punk at that point.

Well, the band who are really floating my coracle as the moment are Gandalf Murphy & the Slambovian Circus of Dreams. Saw them twice at a festival the other week and to be honest, won \'best band of the festival\' crown hands down. The two albums I bought are also damn good.

Nice to see Nick Drake getting a mention, here too.

White Pepper is brilliance and their swan song. HANDS DOWN. Top notch songwriting and production.  It\'s great because it doesn\'t have a trace of pre-White Pepper Ween to it.  Mollusk is too juvenile, featuring only  a few gems (ie Mutilated Lips & Buckingham Green). IMFHO

CJ some great bands: Masta Ace Incorporated
Spice One
Ant Banks
Jim O\'Rourke
Sun Kil Moon
National Health
Opeth
