One of the technical issues with this board is that you can see the comments of people on your ignore list when people quote them in their responses.

all of this because someone wanted to throw a party and used this board to get the word out. do you think everyone has another message board where we all get together to decide how to pick on you yoda......or is it that you just act like a dumbass at most every turn? when you and joe start with each other....it\'s like two peas in a pod. joe jumping in on a beatdown with a completely (IMHO) inappropriate remark. you\'re both just plain goofy.
Duane, I\'m pushing his buttons because he likes to push the buttons of others. I\'m aware of his negative projections on this board, because I use to do it all the time and occasionally will give into that nasty little fucker of an impulse. I\'m just trying to point out the insanity of wasting time on this board when a million beautiful and positive experiences are waiting for him right outside his computer room door. But he\'s right, why should I waste my time pointing this out to him.

Hey Joe, I\'m glad that you found a way of life that makes you happy and gives you direction. But I don\'t need you telling me what I should be doing, how I should be spending my time. And I\'m sure your anti-catholic comments go against the peaceful teaching of whatever guru you have decided to follow until you find the next path to enlightenment. You want to trash me for my comments, fine, but leave my religious beliefs out of it.

It was a lot to do with your negativity and repressed catholic rage and guilt that you project on this board. Why waste time being an unproductive **** on this message board when you can be reading books to your newborn, or painting, or cooking with your wife? There are countless of beautiful experiences waiting for you at every moment, yet you HAVE to be here and ****, ****, ****......

And let me set this straight, for those that want to come at me or anyone that doesn\'t go to a ton of shows constantly... you don\'t have to constantly go see live music to know what music you like or have particular tastes, or even be a fan of a band for that matter...

there are two very simple points as far as i see it
1. someone was just trying to promote a good time for anyone who might be interested from this board. obviously some were. your comment was tasteless, lacking in tact and simply uncalled for.

didn\'t go to this bash (although it sounded like lots of fun), but wow....couldn\'t agree more! i don\'t think i\'ve heard Hubinger St. (unless chags has played it for me), but yoda hasn\'t even listened to them in 8 years! how do you know if their sound has changed or not? maybe your taste has changed...kinda doubtful, but it could happen. you should stop being a douche and just let others have their own fun without the negative vibes coming from your sorriness.

yeah, i said happy birthday to whaley last night, he told me it was his 3rd birthday of \'08. what a beautiful thing. we should all be so lucky.

Just talked to genc\'s. Since the band is playing early tonight, he\'s hoping to be back in time for this show. I\'m hoping he drags Timmy or maybe Dangle-do down for a little sit in action. Would love that.

Mark - I believe that you saw me at Donnegals in March (we actual spoke a little???), but I saw TB when they came to NJ in July. I haven\'t seen Hubinger since 2000, but gave a them and Max Creek a couple listens at the request of some board members, and I still don\'t like it.

Huby is fantastic, tons of fun, incredible jams and very friendly fans. Most of you know Mr. Waley because he comes to tons of breakfast shows/ side projects. But if you\'ve never seen him drop bass bombs, you\'re in for a treat.
John Whaley, Hubi bass player in a previous life, may bribe the band to let him slide in and play a couple classics. But someone has to be in charge of the bakery, so he\'ll be a busy prankster!
Ah man, I forgot that he\'s not playing bass for them anymore. It\'ll be great anyway.
They really are a great band. Awesome song writing. If there\'s a Broseph in heaven, I\'ll get a "Shoe\'s and a Jacket" tonight. But they never play that anymore :-(

If you\'ve never gotten to see Hubinger St and you\'re not traveling to see the breakfast, you should make an effort to get to Connie\'s (and twisted vine pregame).

For those not doing the I91 north thing tonite, and still want to get a bit crazy, John Whaley and his merry pranksters will be celebrating his \'birthday\' in and around CT\'s rock & roll capital of Derby. The band Hubinger St will be playing at Connie\'s (Elizabeth St), starting a little before 10, and their good friend Sammy Blanchette will be hosting a \'pre-game\' acoustic session at everyone\'s favorite basement lounge, The Twisted Vine (Main St), starting at 8. Baked goods for all at Connie\'s, and an awesome dinner menu at The Vine.
