The last time i was there in june, they had candy tables in the bathroom. Don\'t know if that was random or a new thing.

Mmmm, nothing says yummy better then serving food in a fecal rich environment.

of Montreal was without a doubt one of the best concerts I\'ve ever seen in my life. Seriously top 10 material. 1000000000x better than beck was at 2x+ the price 2 nights before. So good that everyone skipped MSTRKRFT. Just no need to see anything else tonight. Incredible.

im actually recovered enough today to consider skipping the breakfast on 10/30 to see them again in boston. that was one of the most incredible experiences i\'ve ever had at a show and i need to see them again. soon. im a goddamn of montreal junkie.

F U C K   M S T R K R F T is about all i have to say. you seen \'em once, you\'ve seen em enough.... my only regret is not selling all those extras to the silly hipsters at an elevated price. oh well. . . next time :)

**** yea. yes, yes, yes yes and yes. This show was at least top 5 for me, and I can\'t really think of one that I\'ve seen better, but I don\'t want to give it that title quite yet. Don\'t know on the 30th, but I\'m already planning on skipping oberlin to see them in philly. Anyone want to make the trip let me know!

Also, if I do philly over oberlin then I\'ll have an empty car going up to and back from burlington for anyone who needs a ride on the first!

mstrkrft could not have been even close to of montreal and would have only ruined the night had we gone. so glad we didn\'t.

indescribable night. I\'m still in sensory overload on that show, I don\'t know where or how to describe it.

and yes jocelyn, that was a horse. on stage.

saw mstrkrft there in may. dress code isn\'t really enforced (don\'t wear shorts/hats; sneakers/jeans are ok). mstrkrft will be on the main floor as they are the main event. there will (hopefully) be no shitty 80s dance party tonight

bjust curious about the Webster Hall... anyone who has been there (or better yet, seen MSTRKRFT there) know about their dress code? it says no hats, sneakers on their website... do they really enforce this?

Webster Hall is serious about dress code.  They also hate people who linger outside after shows.  Even if you are across the street sitting on an apartment stoop, they will run across the street and chase you out.  The security are bastards.  Place is legendary though. Gets cramped in there.  Awesome for dancing.   The last time i was there in june, they had candy tables in the bathroom. Don\'t know if that was random or a new thing.

There are 3 floors, so i am assuming you are on the top floor.   Usually down down stairs is rap music.  The main floor is usually 80s dance party or something like that.

Hey, Princess:  since you and DPeck don\'t seem to mind trekking into NYC all the time, you should really add Kraak and Smaak to your show schedule on 11-8-2008.  I guarantee you will thank me.

a PLETHORA sounds like a lot of tix.  How much are tickets?

I could probably bring my ass to the party on my own...i would just need a ride back after MSTRKRFT.  I wish trains ran later than 1:50 out of Grand Central

on second thought...i might be able to get a ride home

I was there over the summer and it didn\'t seem like it was that big of a deal.  I wouldn\'t do T-shirt and shorts, but as long as you look respectable it shouldn\'t be a problem.

And btw...The sound @ Webster Hall is ridiculous.  In the main room your entire body vibrates from the bass.

I\'m 50/50 on MSTRKRFT.  I see Of Montreal isn\'t sold out, but I can only pull Mezz tickets.  I haven\'t been to Roseland since \'02, but i thought it was all GA.  Can someone clue me in???

Does anyone have a spot in the car passing through Port Chester?

Awsome you have of montreal tickets?!
Have you seen them lately? I used go see them ALL the time back in the day with (ya know) so I haven\'t been keeping up with them. Kevin Barnes is a super song writer.
I always thought of them as a mix of if the Beach Boys and the Kinks ever did a project together....thats what it would sound like.  The last couple of shows I did see  they were very theatrical almost like they were puttting on a play. So let me know how they are these days. I should catch up!!:)

Of Montreal is **** fantastic. I started down the road about a year ago and never looked back. The Sunlandic Twins was what really captured me; but, Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? is possibly my favorite album of all time. Start to finish, one of the most creative, emotional, and beautifully composed studio albums. It rivals Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots in my book for raw, heartfelt emotion. Kevin Barnes is so beautifully eloquent and innovative in his lyrics, and impeccably captures some of the most complex feelings through metaphor. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THEM NEXT MONTH! then boogie down to MSTRKRFT latenight.... i wish my sister wasn\'t getting married the next day. oof!

you might want to start catching up on your sleep now.... :)

ha!!! sounds like a plan. are you coming with us, BTW? i know those hot moves you got will steal the show at MSTRKRFT......
