Oh please. Disagreement is now persecution? What a little baby.

I\'m kind of shocked how many people wouldn\'t even give an opinion.
"pussies!"
Ha! Absolutely classic.
Do you engage crazy people on the street in conversation ?
why not? it was a harmless question; most of those people were walking in pairs so they shouldn\'t have felt too threatened; and besides that, how else would you meet interesting people? ;)

I\'ve got what some people call a "crazy magnet". And I typically don\'t shy away from interaction with vegrants. It\'s both a curse and a blessing.

It is a good city survival technique to play deaf and just keep walking

I laughed harder at that video then I have at anything in a long time, which is tough since I\'m sitting in a quiet cubicle farm.

Bravo Pitchie!

Oh, and Chris, next time you\'re gonna take a brave stance like \'Culture Club is better then Marley\' in such a public forum, then... then have the bravado to pull "I\'ll Tumble For Ya" as your example instead of the obvious choice of "Karma Chameleon", at least be able to sing the first verse and chorus.
If you had done that, you may have gotten some converts, and I would have fallen off my chair laughing.

My only regret is that considering this was at a Radiohead show, I can\'t believe I didn\'t make the whole Karma Chameleon-Karma Police association.
But anyway, on to our next debate. Who\'s better: Bob Dylan or Ratt.

If you\'re going to argue public image, Boy George as your spokesperson isn\'t anything to brag about; he looks like a horrible science project gone bad.

no question! dude can\'t even get his picture taken without toking up... y\'all must be a bunch of weed heads if you think his message of dope was more important than the club\'s message of personal androgyny!

seriously, look at what he did, nearly single handedly, for 80\'s fashion! what did marley ever do? besides making pot popular to white kids?
I know you\'re probably kidding but if that is what you really think about the man I suggest reading about his life.
He got involved in many many political **** storms. Was a huge advocate for Africa and the rights of Africans. He helped to stop violence / civil war in Jamaica. He brought attention to many issues of the day including Apartheid (before it was popular etc)
Not to mention his music makes Culture Club look stupid. "Do you really want to hurt me" up against Small Axe, Duppy Conqueror, Guava Jelly, Hurting Inside and the list goes on and on.
Whoever was arguing for CC needs to have their head examined. And maybe turn in their MAN card. :)

I pretty much have no use for the 80s except for a selection portion of it\'s rock music; fashion during that time period stunk!

So you\'re saying that you are giving him props for getting kids to dress like something out of the back pages of the Villiage Voice? Personally, I thought that most of the 80\'s music and fashion sucked.

Hillarious...that being said, please tell me that Pitch was just being Pitch. I can\'t say that I\'ve actually stopped to listen to a Culture Club tune since it was part of the Totally 80\'s infommercial that was run at 3:00 AM on public television. To me, CC sucks, but to each is own.
