What goods does Ser identify or distinguish the source of ?
If Wah were to start a business in which he sold goods then he could use Ser for a trademark.
No Wah needs to look into copyright as he mentioned but it is a shortening of another word and there are other uses for the word Ser according to the Urban Dictionary so I am not sure even that is possible besides I doubt he has the money needed as I hear he can\'t even make it to local B\'Fast shows.

way to be a buzzkill to a fairly hypothetical question.

Way to be a **** **** to someone that is just being fairly realistic.

\'are you ser?\' could be trademarked if there was intention of making shirts or stickers or merchandise using that expression
Perhaps but I don\'t think so. Then again I\'m not a lawyer but only speaking from experience with helping out Pure Noodle when we were making an album etc.

How is Ser a trademark?
A trademark is a word, phrase, symbol or design, or a combination of words, phrases, symbols or designs, that identifies and distinguishes the source of the goods of one party from those of others.

Doesn\'t the dude say it in big lebowski???  cause i swear thats where i first heard it.  and because of that, ive heard many people use it.  people who definitely dont know who the breakfast is.

I don\'t know about the big lebowski, but they definitely say it in Anchorman...that\'s where I first heard it and I figured that\'s where it came from!

I almost forgot about that scene!!  Doesn\'t Jack Black say it before he punts Baxter???

I have various foreigners here at work using Broseph, Chip, etc.  I really ought to capture a video of unassuming people using .info terminology.

Oooooo, I\'m gonna start working on this tomorrow with the middle easterns I work with.  I\'m pretty sure I can get Vipan, Ramesh, and Suresh into it.  But Depak, Sai and Madhavan might be a little slow getting involved.

Oh I\'ve got all sortsa folk rolling with Broseph, using the word and getting a kick out of it.

...to get his attention.  (like "yo broseph!").  and i think he was kinda offended at first cause he didnt really know what i said.  i explained myself and told him its a variation of "bro" that I picked up from people in CT that I know.

I find myself slowly picking up on CT/new haven/breakfast lingo as i am around this crowd more.  I say "are you ser?" now all the time too.
