Not that his style is comparable to that of PB at all, but I\'ve recently been getting into Keller Williams.
And if you ever hear about a show, I recommend getting drunk or otherwise chemically altered and going to see Reverend Xuxa Godbody and the Apocalyptic Beach Party.

Aaron Katz was my camp counselor. He made several stoned attempts at attempting to teach me the sidestroke.

The other thread is what band is 2nd to PB in Grand Scheme and I believe there is an older thread somewhere but do not remember name either way I guess I would add AOD and SC to this thread.

don\'t be so harsh, leith. there may already be one of these threads but i appreciate origen\'s attempt to share the groove! too bad you\'re not in nyc origen - pb just played a show w/ addison.

Let\'s start a thread devoted to other cool bands which might be almost as good as PB, including (preferably) small time acts as well as big time.
favorite small time grassroots jambands besides PB:
Tea Leaf Green (killer hard rock band from San Fran featuring the alien Josh Clark ripping it up on lead guitar)
Particle (awesome electonic influenced dance-groove band)
Lotus (killer band from Philly similar to Particle, maybe even better
Addison Groove (hard rocking jazz, if that\'s not a contradiction)
ekoostik hookah (features S. Sweeny, 3rd best living guitarist in America behind Tim and Josh Clark)
Guest (electronic dance influenced, hard rocking, with insane dueling lead guitarists)
