the peak is not as intense as it was live with the lights and crowd and stage antics but still ser and I love the scary edge it has to it. This version is a totally unique in the world of gladys. All in all its probably only the 3rd or 4th best jam of the weekend but still one of the best just based on its uniqueness and ser rageability. another heavy hitter taken to the next level.
even without the full the intensity of that last peak its still and epic gladys and is instantly one my favorites ever up there with cuse, noho, rev hall and a few others from back in the day.
not a definitive best ever in my mind but one could certainly make the argument.
-
i disagree
-
yes that is what it menas...i was there live when klout coined that acronym
-
Best Gladys Ever?
-
it took me a while too (hence asking klout WTF he was blabbering about in one of the first posts in this thread). i didn\'t get an answer, but i think it means "best gladys ever".
-
Bge ? ! ?
-
what the hell is BGE?

I said it to someone at the show the jam> metropolis sounds just like its going to be FFT, they do it again at the very end of the jam too. not totally sold on the sing section but the jam> and after is very nice.
im pretty sure that was me that you said it to, cause i remember having that quick discussion as it was going into the song

From Jambands.com:
moe., RatDog and The Breakfast Share Moments
On Friday and Saturday nights, moe. performed at the Saranac Brewery in Utica, NY. During those same two evenings the Breakfast appeared at Utica\'s Electric Company. On Saturday following the moe. gig, Vinnie Amico attended the Breakfast show and opened the second set on stage, joining Adrian Tramontano on drums, which segued into a version of the Breakfast\'s "See The Light." Then on Sunday, moe. performed in New York City on Governor\'s Island, where RatDog sax player Kenny Brooks stepped up at the close of set one for "Happy Hour Hero."
Tonight, moe. is at New York\'s Highline Ballroom, while The Breakfast begins a Midwest tour on Wednesday in Indianapolis. RatDog\'s summer dates begin on Friday in Eugene, OR.

-
woops!
didnt he have a vocal mic earlier for queeb and stuff?
-
gladys
it still sounds good with the guitar riff actually and you can hear the crowd singing it. same thing happened earlier in the weekend I think it was reba and d-man had a slight glitch but just rolled with it and actually turned it into something unique and better than the original
adrian didnt have a vocal mic set up, he usually sings that part. i remember tim looking around confused then realizing and filling in the vocal part before going off on his rant

what song??
-
actually its not that bad of a flub...just tripped me out. "Gladys Pimp And Kangaroos
Wild bunch of crazy fools" is not audible but the little guitar riff is more pronounced then timmy picks up the vocals. guess adrian\'s mic just doozed?
-
heh I think thats the worst lyrical flub I have ever noticed from this band. I was singing it at the show and thought it was me that **** up for a second. but it happened during BGE tho so its all good. I love the hard edge and franticness of the peak out. really just burnt that place to the ground all faces included. Shutgun butterfly? Try Me!
i have no idea what this means.

for the record, "jam > Metropolis" is actually all Metropolis.
-
gladys > tunage = easily the highest Breakfast peak since the 8/20/05 queeb.....
-
listen to this show asap, its an instant classic.
-
Both, Infrequently and Metropolis sound really good.......can\'t wait to see a show someday.......Whineberg.
